Absolutely incredible! I preferred the Italian and Turkey Bacon subs to the breakfast sandwich but everything was so good here I don't think you can go wrong. Staff was super friendly. This will be a regular stop every time I'm in Philly now.

Great having this option at the market. Makes this a great place to come to when with your non-vegan friends. The menu is great large with take away groceries for sale as well, and of course their food is excellent. Updated from previous review on 2023-11-19
Great experience! Very kind staff and all food came out extremely hot and fresh. We ordered the Italian hoagie as well as the Chicken parmesan sandwich. Both were great and we would order them both again! A+ experience!

How I luhv this place! It demonstrates that we can eat all the classic deli comfort foods...without cruelty to animals. This is the future. Well done, ma' Luhv!

Big menu. We ordered the cheesesteak, garbanzo burger, and soup and it was all delicious. Highly recommend ordering online in advance for pick up. The line was very long to order in person!
I really wanted to love Luhv’s Vegan Deli, but unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. As a vegan with gluten-free dietary preferences, I was excited to visit a place that specifically advertises being able to accommodate people like me. Their gluten free bread among other gf options has amazing reviews online. That turned out to be far from the truth.
When I approached the counter, I was met with immediate attitude from the woman working there. She bluntly told me they couldn’t accommodate my needs and that the only gluten-free option was bread and after what appeared to be nothing short of a desire to not serve me she indicated they also had a chickpea salad. When I politely pointed out that their own menu indicated gluten-free options, she doubled down on the attitude instead of helping me.
If your restaurant is going to brand itself as a place that accommodates preferences, then you should actually follow through and at the very least, treat customers with basic respect. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

This place was delicious. I got the breakfast sandwich, jalapeno sweet potato soup, and empanadas. Everything was so good. The staff was also very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Next time I definitely want to get some of their take home food out of the deli case!

Placed an order to-go and unfortunately received the wrong item. I ordered a cheesesteak and received what seemed to be the BLT. The food was still good but I was disappointed to not have received the right order. I do not frequent this location/area so I’m not sure when I’ll be able to return to try the cheesesteak.

I tried their Italian and it was the best thing. I still think about it to this day.
Let me start by saying I looveee Hatboro’s location! Here… ABSOLUTELY RUDE! I walked up to the counter 3 times (and waited) to be ignored! I tried saying, “Hi,” for a reaction… Nothing! Not even a “Give me one moment,” or “Hi” back! Completely ignored! So I gave up and walked away! I was frustrated and I question even returning to another location because how disappointed I was by the service!

I end up at LUHV a lot for convenience to the convention center and I’m so glad this place exists! However, I don’t think I would go out of my way to eat here otherwise. I find everything a bit bland. Two days of empanadas with no sauce on the side (so dry). They don’t keep condiments out like salt, pepper or hot sauce so make sure to ask for some if you want some extra flavor. Of the breakfast sandwiches I prefer the bacon to the large mound of homemade sausage.
Definitely one of the best vegan versions of a Reuben and decently priced also had their Italian hoagie, Love the Reading terminal market such a great place to have lunch. Wish I could get here more often.

Nestled inside Reading Terminal Market, it is necessary to navigate through aisles of carnivorous atrocities by other vendors, (be prepared to cover your eyes and hold your breath) to arrive at LUHV's outpost. The venue itself is underwhelming, as is the menu, but sufficient enough to satisfy any hungry Vegan, assuming one is not strictly adhering to the healthiest options on a whole-food, SOS-free regimen ::sigh:: And so, I opted to try the "Lox (made from beets) and cream cheese (tofu) sandwich (everything bagel) which in all honesty, tasted just fine. I guess it just doesn't hit the same way as on previous visits to Philadelphia as a full-fledged Vegan foodie from 2016-2020. Now, the way a meal makes me FEEL is just as, if not more important than how it tastes. I can't wait to get back home, to my daily salads and smoothies.
Had the best vegan breakfast bagels ever! 😋 Bacon, egg and cheese along with a lox bagel made with beets. Highly recommended!!
