The wife and I had reservations for Valentine’s Day weekend on Sunday. After ordering the Eggplant Stack, we both had the Sunday Gravy, which was outstanding, followed by the Soufflé for dessert. We have eaten here numerous times and have NEVER been disappointed. Everything on the menu is top-notch, from appetizers to entrees to desserts. All of the staff were friendly, attentive and responsive throughout our whole meal, from the hostesses to the dining room manager, Vincenzo, to the waiters and waitresses. A 5+ Star experience….Great food, and even better people. Like that guy said in that movie, “I’ll be back!”

I couldn’t even try the restaurant because of how they decide to honor reservations. I made a reservation for indoor seating and carefully reviewed the rules, knowing I did not want to sit in their outdoor “heated” sports bar. We got there and they said that online reservations are a “request” so we couldn’t actually sit indoors and had to sit in the outdoor bar. The outdoor bar is so loud and not at all what we wanted or selected, purposely. This rule about online reservations needs to be published online so people know ahead of time, can change their plans accordingly, and not be surprised when they arrive.

My wife and I celebrated a friend's birthday with lunch here. The restaurant is upscale and beautiful. The owner greeted us warmly and the staff was friendly and attentive. The lunch menu was pretty extensive, and we had chicken parmesan, pizza, and branzino. All of the dishes were delicious and the portions were generous. We shared a Brussel sprout appetizer that I recommend. The lighting was intimate but bright enough to be able to read the menus and see everything. I really enjoyed this restaurant, and we will return here for dinner soon!

Super disappointed! We have been coming to this restaurant for years!!! After tonight, I won’t be back. I had made reservations (well in advance) for 7:30 for their main dining room. These reservations were confirmed via text yesterday, and the restaurant called me this afternoon to confirm. When we arrived, they only had high top tables around the bar available. It was absolutely freezing!! When I spoke with the hostess regarding my reservations for the main dining room, I was told “this is all we have.” Ultimately, our server did move us to the main dining room. When the food came, my dish was ice cold and tasted like nothing but garlic. This was definitely our last time going there

Great food , great service... but when you have tables so close to the bar , you shouldn't allow crowds of 8-10 people huddled around 2 seats at the bar leaving no walking room and people accidently walking Into the tables while people are eating.

Really beautiful place. Service was good, even though the waiter never introduced himself. Food was delicious, just wish they used a more flavorful tomatoe for the eggplant mozzarella appetizer. They used a beef tomato. But we still had a good time. Also, the table was wobbly. My nieces drink was spilling. Even the little flaws won't stop me from going back though.

We went a few yrs ago for anniv. I’m in the business portions were small and it was average! It seems to be the the NE Philly place to go so we thought we would give it another try. It’s anniversary again & a wed night. Husband made reservations for dining room they sat us at high top right next to the front door. My husband told the receptionist he was asked (when he made the reservation) if he wanted high top or dining room and he requested the dining room. She said we have a big party, that’s the only seat! ✌🏼 off to Amalfi Restaurant Or just go to the saloon in South Philly where I worked for year
Restaurant part has elegant and romantic ambiance. Behindbthe restaurant there is a modern lounge with a very nice bar. If you want to feel good and positive on a rainu day, or need an additional boost of energy on already happy day or night this os the spot.

Terrible!!! Went on a Saturday night with my husband and another couple. Made reservations two weeks earlier. We needed the dining room. My husband recently had back surgery cannot sit on a high top. When we got there they sat us in the bar area on a high top. The table was a pub table designed for two people. What an uncomfortable dinner. We could not wait to leave. There was no room to eat. Our plates were actually touching each others. Also my husband could not sit on the high top. Very uncomfortable. When I brought this up to the hostess she just basically shrugged her shoulders. We did a fast dinner no apps or desert. We went elsewhere after for more drinks. Today I contacted the restaurant after my email was not answered. I spoke to a Dave who said he was the owner. He was rude and condescending. Did not care about my concerns. He just kept going on about how they seat people etc. I told him it was ver uncomfortable for four people to be at a table meant for two. I told him I am more comfortable at Mcdonald’s He said he was insulted and hung up on me. So much for caring about customers. I called back to finish the conversation and got a giggly girl that made no sense, then she hu g up on me. What an unprofessional place. I will never go back and will tell everyone about my experience. The food is average at best. Don’t waste your time there

I called and asked what time the kitchen closed and the hostess who answered told me the kitchen closed at 9pm so I made a reservation for 8:30 and as I was parking to go inside which was at 8:15, they called me and told me the kitchen closes at 8:30 and they stop seating at 8. Why they didn’t feel the need to tell me this when I made the reservation, or by 8pm so I would not waste my time going, I don’t know but poor service and never will I go back again.

Love this restaurant, this was my second time visiting, and I took my best friend to celebrate her birthday with a nice dinner. It was her first time there. When I made the reservation, I specifically noted that it was a birthday celebration.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed that at the end of our meal, we never received a dessert with a candle or anything to acknowledge her special day. I even noticed another table behind us being served a dessert with a candle, which left me feeling confused and disappointed that my friend didn’t receive the same treatment.
That being said, the food was absolutely 10/10, and I would still recommend this place for the quality of the meal. I just wish the celebration aspect had been handled better.

Awesome food, and the BEST service always. Our server, Bogdan, was the absolutely sweetest! My aunt was visibly upset about her day, Bogdan recognized us from previous visits and went above and beyond to provide us top tier service even going as far as offering her dessert on him. Such kind staff!
