They’re doing it right

A couple of my friends and I came here on a Saturday morning after learning our original plans for breakfast were closed and were blown away by Majdal Bakery! The flavors were full and well balanced, the textures were exquisite, and the environment was very pleasant! We had the Chicken Sumac Fatayer, Chicken Shawarma Sammie, Turkish Eggs Safeha, Cherry Labneh Tart, and Cinnamon Cardamom Bun. There are a few small tables and we were early enough to snag seats before a small line formed, but this could easily be a go-to spot for grabbing some things to take away. We all look forward to going back and trying more!

This bakery is amazing!! Their baked goods were delicious. I loved all the savory options. The sweet pastries were not too sweet and a perfect combination of flavors. I will be coming back for sure. The overall cafe vibes were also very cute. Only downside is that it is a little small and it can get busy on the weekends. You must stop by!

Phenomenal bakery. Had the tomato Labneh Safeha straight from the oven - still sizzling. Pistachio pastry was also amazing. Majdal is a trek for me but it was well worth it. There are only a few small tables but I managed to get a table by the window. Great ambience. Friendly, helpful staff. Will be back soon. Thanks for making Philly such a great food destination!

Dropped by because of the near-perfect rating but unfortunately had to walk out after seeing the person working the register handle cash and credit cards then touch food and drinks with bare hands…the baked goods looked delicious but quite overpriced.

Wonderful bakery! They had delicious hot coffee as well.

Great pastries - we got savory ones: chicken shawarma + eggplant / labneh. Both were incredible! Lots of chicken too.

A bit pricey for 2 pastries but you can tell they are homemade.
