Something should be done about the noise level. When the restaurant is half-full, it is deafening.

This place was a random find. Waiter was great, food was great and mimosa was one of the best I’ve had.

I had the blackened chicken press sandwich with broccoli instead of fries, which was great. My wife had the Greek salad and matzoh ball soup, both of which she greatly enjoyed. The service was excellent.

Marathon Grill is my go-to spot when I have guests with unknown culinary tastes because Marathon has a diverse menu of delicious choices. No matter what people order, everyone comments on how they love the fries! The servers are attentive, but also understanding if the table gets to gabbing and takes time to order. The prices are reasonable for this area. We have eaten both inside and outside and gotten great service in both areas.

I came to Marathon for lunch on a Saturday. It was not too crowded, and we did not have to wait to be seated. Their food menu has plenty of great options, I ordered the Blackened Chicken Press sandwich, which was wonderful. I also for the Crown Royal Peach Tea off of their summer drink menu, which was great. It was not too sweet and you could taste the flavors of the tea and peach blending well, the alcohol taste was not overwhelming but I could definitely tell it was there as I drank it. Our server was friendly and attentive, overall this was a great experience!

Overall good experience. Service was good and I appreciate that they prioritize local food sources.

For the food- tomato basil soup was fantastic!! So flavorful! The rest of our meal wasn’t so flavorful though. My grilled chicken had a drizzle of basil oil but overall was very plain tasting.

My only “real” complaint was that the music was unbelievably loud. It was hard to hear the person I was sitting across from. Also, they should get a credit card tapping machine that can be brought to the table to make paying from credit on phone easier.

Terrible experience. After the host got us a table, two waiters passed by us in different opportunities, looked at our table and didn't even asked if we wanted to order something.

As always, attentive service, great variety and high quality of food, and very good care for our friend in a wheelchair.

Food and service were great. The server suggested the blackened chicken quesadillas and they were absolutely delicious. Our server was very courteous. We sat outside which was great since it was a beautiful evening. I definitely will go back and highly recommend this place.

Always a great experience! The food, the drinks are excellent. Ask for Candice, she will take great care of you!

I love Marathon, but like most restaurants in Philadelphia, proprietors invest zero in noise abatement. The din was so bad we could hardly hear ourselves think.

We are always pleased with the food and service. I had the beef brisket and it was delicious.

Love this place! Been going for a number of years and it never disappoints. Simple, classic menu items with a quality taste. The buffalo chicken sandwich is my favorite! And the fries are bomb!
