Marathon On the Square Restaurant

Service and food were excellent. Like most restaurants the noise level was higher than we like, but overall good value.

The chicken pot pies that two of us had and the trout which I had were excellent, well prepared and well worth the modest charge. The chocolate mint ice cream was excellent and a nice finish to the dinner. We will return to Marathon again soon.

Love Marathon. Great Philadelphia standard. It was Valentine's Day and I was out with friends and everything had reservations only signs. Five of us together went to Marathon and they had space and great service and great food. Everybody was happy and it was very enjoyable.

WHY can you not have regular Chardonnay? You have Bogle Cabernet - why not the Chardonnay??? Only UN-oaked??? Really?
Other than that, great neighborhood place with good food. I’d go more often if had the oaked chard. Come on!

They can't keep order pick up times and the food is to average to wait 15min past your pick up time, monks is better go there

Could not order a pick up through their website. When ordering through alternative such as GrubHub, Manu item is more expensive. I’m not paying more for an item because your system doesn’t work. and you really need to update or redo your website. There’s always issues.

Just tried to get two cups of coffee to go, which was more of an ordeal than it should have been, but the staff was friendly and the atmosphere beautiful. The menu looked incredible, and I would have loved to come back for lunch or dinner, but there wasn't a single vegan option on the menu and not many vegetarian options beyond salad.

Food was good. Enjoyed the blackened chicken tortellini and apple pie. Our server didn't enter one of our party of 7's dinner. So that came late. Dessert was served without coffee I ordered and after I tracked down the waitress I was brought a barely warm end of the night coffee.
