I love Maria’s! They were so helpful in 2023 when I was hosting my Fiancés 30th and needed to order pizzas, salad, and wings for delivery. We recently dined in and loved the chicken picata and Parmesan. The Maria Martini was very good too.

I came here twice this week to pick up food for my Ma. Pasta and clams were good enough to eat but the strawberry shortcake apparently didn’t even taste like strawberry shortcake and the icing tasted cheap and overwhelming. Today got a lasagna and it’s terrible… there is hardly any meat inside of it, it’s mostly sad soggy noodles, disgusting. It’s swimming in a pasta sauce, tastes like pizza cheese and pizza sauce, very cheap. Each meal is roughly around 20 dollars and i feel like they’re robbing us. Guys it’s so bad that it makes Stouffer’s Lasagna with Meat seem like authentic Italian, know what I even think Olive Garden is better! My Ma couldn’t even finish it so basically it’s going in the trash, it’s that bad.

My wife and I always enjoy the food service and atmosphere. We do like the Italian background music of Sinatra etc that reminds me of the Italian restaurants I was raised in during the 70s and 80s.

I have been there before and all the food is top notch. I went this time specifically for thier August special pizza, the GR8 pizza. It did not disappoint! Great pizza, I think Maria's Italian food is so spectacular, their pizza is overlooked, one of the best pizzas in the city. Outside of the speciality toppings, the dough, sauce and cheese were delicious and it was cooked to perfection.
Although I will be back to the Italian food shortly, my next trip will be to get another GR8 pizza along with trying the Sausage Diablo, which is also an August special pizza.

Restaurantji Recommends
Love the place but lasagna was very average compared to some of their other entrees. Decent wine list.

I went to Maria’s on Summit for dinner, and it was great for a quick stop. The employees were nice and professional! Food was great and I got chicken Parmigian. I’m very picky with food so the selection was very solid. Food was a 4/5, especially the bread! Desserts were GREAT, chocolate chip cheesecake is to die for!!! service was a 5/5, i will definitely recommend to others & come back. The atmosphere was a 4, could be larger & more modern in my opinion. although it was clean, and professional.

I've lived right down the road from Maria's for 4 years and never went in. I assumed it was a fancy upscale restaurant (it is) my sister and I stopped in Sunday after a Long very hot day of moving and boy did that make the day! First the atmosphere is amazing. It's like a pub, restaurant, high class dining rolled into one! Second the employees are amazingly awesome! It's family run and they made us feel like part of their family! Third food was awesome!! If you're not eating at Maria's it's your bad please learn from my mistake not going! Enjoy! I can't get it. Thank you Lauren and Juliana!!

I got fries and chicken Parm. The food was good. It definitely could use some more spice. But overall was good.
Fries was good too.

Cozy neighborhood Italian restaurant in Roxborough, with very friendly waitstaff. Artichoke Roman appetizer was fantastic, lightly fired with a perfect balsamic reduction. The pasta was freshly made. There is a nice sized dining room, with a comfy bar. The group watching the Phillies made me wish I lived nearby and this could be my local hangout.
