Philly gem. My twins and I can eat of off 1 whole steak. Hits the same each and every time.

I ordered a cheesesteak hoagie on April 16th and paid $16. They told me they didn't have tomatoes, which was fine. However, when I got home, I found tiny bits of onions and only two to five pieces of old lettuce in my hoagie. Additionally, I waited over 30 minutes for it. I called the store, and the employee promised to make it right.

I returned on June 16th to try another cheesesteak. Unfortunately, the meat was unidentifiable — it was stringy, had a bad taste, and was full of fat. It felt so thick that it resembled shoe leather. The lettuce looked wilted and tasted terrible. I will never go back to this place again. No wonder there are rarely any customers; that should have been a red flag for me.

This business is scamming people out of their money, and it will ultimately backfire on them. You can't cheat people without consequences. This place is headed for failure. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from here. Do not support this establishment; they are crooks! Max Steaks on Oxcord Ave is a scam business!

Rude & Overrated food wasn't all that

Made me wait over an hour just to order and kept telling me 10 more minutes. Cheesesteak was mediocre at best. If you wonder why the poverty rate is so high and the work production is so low in Philly, look no further.

Tried the salmon and beef cheesesteak here. Unfortunately, the salmon was chopped way too fine for a steak, and the cheesesteak was a letdown. The steak had an odd texture, drowned in excessive ketchup, and the cheese didn't quite taste like cheese – a bit disappointing overall. Couldn't finish the meal.
