McGlinchey's Bar a throw back to another era now known as a dive bar where smoking was permitted inside has closed it's doors. I've stopped in here on occasion when in center city and it always brought back memories of when I smoked and went ti bars that sponsored us for sports n bar games. I know the regulars will miss it sorely for it was a place where everyone knew their name. Cheers!! to the McGlinchey regulars. I gave a 5 for atmosphere n nostalgia.

Definitely a end of an era . Been going for close to 90nyears ..Thats one heck of a run.

Hasn’t changed.
Still the best bar in town!!
This IS a smoking bar, always interesting clientele, bathrooms are on the rough side, alcohol prices are cheap for CC, I come for the atmosphere, jukebox, conversation, and the Chili Dogs.
May not be to everyone’s liking, but it is to mine.
If you are on a Dive Bar tour it’s not to be missed.
