McMenimin's is a terrific, very popular neighborhood bar/restaurant. It can be noisy, but if you sit in the back room, the noise is not too bad. We were there on a weeknight (Tuesday), and yet every table was filled by 7 o'clock. The food is better than one would expect for this kind of place. The fish and chips, chef's salad with portobello mushrooms and plant-based "cheeseburger" were all excellent. And portions were huge. The server was very pleasant. The reasons why this is 4 stars and not 5: No cocktail list at all and just a few not-so-great wines by the glass. And the entrees were served way before we were finished with the appetizers. They must have thought we had to catch a train. If you don't mind being rushed like crazy, then you might give McMenamin's 5 stars.

Bar Frequented By Local Regulars. Went There To Watch The Philadelphia Eagles Game. Patrons Talked Very Loudly About Everything Else Besides The Fin Game (No Fan Energy) Making It A Horrible Experience. Will Never Return to Location.

Fast friendly service and great food. We got the Fish and Chips, chicken wings and roast beef sandwich., Everything tasted delicious and the beer was on point. The atmosphere was also pleasant not too loud.

Visited friends in Philly, and we ended up with a get-together over the McMenamin's. A sweet time, having a talk at a round table with sunlight, on a cold winter day. Got my own 3rd version of fish&chips upon recommendation - would definitely keep passing the recommendation!

Great to be back in the neighborhood I grew up in! Everyone friendly, a true neighborhood gem and gathering place. The food was excellent for a small bar. We had the grilled flat iron steak with beets and goat cheese served with mashed potatoes and green beans- highly recommend! Good tap selection.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Tasty Food! 17 Beers on tap! Friendly staff! And you can use your phone inside, unlike the jerks at McNally!Great place for watching sports games and dinner dates! Lots of FREE parking in the PPA lot next to Fitlife.
