We absolutely loved our dinner date at Mercato! The ambiance was warm and inviting, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was both delicious and of excellent quality. The highlight of our meal was definitely the meatballs – they were the best we've ever had!

Fabulous food and great service. We were running late and our server still managed to get us out in time for our show without feeling rushed. The short rib ravioli were delicious. If you think cannolis are awesome plain, add caramel and toasted almonds for a real treat!

The waitstaff and overall restaurant vibes were extremely good but the food after thinking about it was slightly left to be desired. They had a seasonal flatbread special, and while the flavors combination was good, it was messy to eat and I feel like the flatbread should have been heated/toasted because it was slightly hard to chew being room temp (it looks like it was toasted though which is strange?), it was basically naan bread. The focaccia was nice, though the butter even though have some red pieces and being a diff color tasted like regular butter which is all g but was expecting it to be slightly more flavorful given the color. The actual entrees were really good though, got the crab pasta and rigatoni

Excellent dinner in a cute corner in Center City. It is tiny so reservations recommended. It's Byob too. We had the whipped ricotta first then the pasta pyramid as main course. Delicious pasta stuffed with shrimp in a light cream sauce. Dessert was a chocolate chip cannoli with almonds and drizzled with caramel. Very walkable to theaters. Prices are in line with restaurants in area.

Our first time here but it won't be the last! Servers very helpful and responsive. Food was delicious and very creative. Memorable!

It might've just been a busy time for the staff but upon arrival, we waited 5-10min (with a reservation) to be seated - before being told to simply go sit down at one of two end tables. No glasses for our wine, water or menus. We waited an additional 10min for our server to come, who then realized that we didn't have anything. This set a really sour tone for the rest of the evening, which was otherwise alright.

Lovely table by the open winds on a spring evening. Food was excellent and great service. Street traffic was a little heavy on Saturday evening but that is to be expected. They had outside seating as well.

The food was amazing as usual! We have been here prior and recommend it to anyone who wants really good Italian! It can be a little packed and close to one another but it fits the small footprint of the restaurant.

The food was delish and the space was philly old charm, but the waitstaff in jeans and hoodies just killed the vibe. Easiest way to elevate your establishment is to dress the part.

Great Italian restaurant. The food is always delicious and they are very accommodating to anyone with dietary restrictions. It's a BYOB which is always a plus. I have been here many times and it never disappoints. I highly recommend eating here and I will certainly be back.

Walked by Mercato at 7pm today and saw sign on door “Closed for private function”. No one there yet. A couple was just seated at one of the few outdoor tables. Asked server if I could get an app to go, she went inside to check (more to get seated couple their water). Said “Apologies, can only get take-out with DoorDash”.
I’m standing at their door. Is it because they’ll get higher price on the App? Have to know I’m a local since walking by.
Poor customer service, lost the trust of a local customer…. Only get 2 stars due to prior experiences.
