I'm a big fan of the Mexican grill stand. Everything I've ever ordered has been fresh, with perfectly balanced seasoning. The food here is in a whole different league than anything you'll get at one of the cali-mex or tex-mex burrito chains (prices are about the same). The shrimp tacos combine tender & juicy shrimp with pico de gallo and a creamy/spicy sauce--tastes like it's mayo or sour cream based. The steak tacos have chopped white onions and fresh cilantro. Both come in real-deal double soft corn tortillas. Squirt some lime on everything! Enjoy a perfect lunch. But don't bother with their little salsa cups, both green & red are lackluster.

I couldn’t have asked for a better Mexican stand. Their food is always so good! They are consistent and very friendly. When they aren’t open I won’t go to anywhere else, they are the only place I go to.

The price has increased in 2023.08 and the ingredients have become less. Now all items cost more than $10 but they are still delicious.Early 2023tasty! The price is also reasonable and the boss and waitress are very friendly.The hot sauce is not too spicy and the portions are generous. If you want to save money, you don’t have to go to chipotle and just come here.Burrito is super big for only $8. I had two meals...

By FAR the best spot on campus! I was an student here and have been an employee for the past 9 years and have tries many trucks! They have been spot on since opening, always so kind and friendly and all of their food is incredible! A must try!

The first time I tried their barria Tacos. It was EXTREMELY GOOD. the second time EVERYTHING tasted like water... the broth,the meat nothing had flavor even the hot sauce was watery. So I didn't eat it instead I called the store and informed them and the lady acted nonchalant like she didn't care **what do you want me to do she said. I was at a loss for words. Worst $14 I ever spent. Never eating from here again! I don't understand how yal went from really good to the worst. It literally tasted like I was eating only tortilla and dipping it in a cup of water.

This was a true staple of my Temple experience. We fequently reffered to their Al Pastor burrito as THE FIX. As it was the remedy to a bad day, the reward after a long sesh at the tech, or comfort food after exams. The owners of the truck always greated me with a smile and by my sophmore year, knew me by my first name. #1 food truck in Philly and the best mexican food I have ever had. This will be the reason for me to come back and visit the alma mater.
Honestly one of the best places around campus to get tacos, even better than the ones from the sexy green truck.

I enjoyed my 3 for 8$ carnitas tacos, I would go back and get them as they’re pretty big and I feel like everywhere else in Philly is 3 for 10$. I would not recommend getting a quesadilla here, wasn’t good. Giving 4 stars for the taco and nice lady taking my order.
