Not kidding. Our table of 4 ordered nearly everything in the menu. Each bite was delicious, balanced, nuanced, worldly, fresh, and inventive. We ordered a second dish of the carrots, and also the cukes. Dessert was outstanding. Interesting wines, including a chilled Croatian wine that paired well with every dish. Definitely returning. Soon! ❤️
Amazing vibe, playlists, space, staff and most importantly THE FOOD!!!

Mish Mish was a pleasure to eat at! Vegetarian and vegan rejoice, a very veg forward menu that is highly veganizable. Sidewalk seating is never my favorite but this sidewalk oasis was so enjoyable next to the fountain center on passyunk.

This place truly is amazing. The staff is excellent. The atmosphere is perfect, great dim lighting and decor. The candles on the table bring that perfect romantic vibe for date night. Even the bathroom is spotless and has the same sexy lighting and an amazing candle that’s custom made for the restaurant.
Every single thing we ate was so delicious but you need to go there for the glazed pork topped with fennel with a house made bbq sauce drowned in jus AND the perfectly cooked steelhead trout, buerre blanc accompanied by a delightful cucumber and celuce(?) salad. Washed down with a delightful Falanghina. The server and manager were A+ in the personality and attentiveness departments.

Had the pleasure of going recently with some good friends of mine on a Thursday evening. The menu was creative with fresh and seasonal ingredients, their drink list by the glass was fun and well-ranging, and their wine by the bottle list was amazing [although the last part is subjective]. Such a great meal with a mix of creative and well-sized dishes where I didn't leave hungry, but rather quite perfect and happy. Service was outstanding.

Awesome restaurant in south Philly. Great vegetarian options, the best fried mozzarella I’ve ever had, and a great wine selection. Really fun vibe. Would highly recommend.

Overall, I was disappointed with our time here. The dishes we had were generally good, but they were out of 3/10 of the items on the menu, including one of the mains (we couldn't eat the other main). I've never been to a restaurant that ran out of bread.
The most romantic and cozy spot in Philly for amazing drinks and the yummiest food. The ambiance cannot be beat and the staff makes you feel like you're at a good friend's for dinner in the cutest neighborhood. For the foodies, everything on the menu is inventive and packed with flavor yet, still approachable for everyone in the group. Order the Fried String Cheese like your life depends on it!

What a disappointment. We were a table of four and given it was a “sharing” menu, we literally ordered the entire menu. Food came out way too fast. We felt rushed the entire time we were there. The food itself was good, but portion size vs pricing was ludicrous. The staff is pretentious and there was zero warmth from anyone who came to our table. As said we were a table of four. When the asparagus dish came out there were seven spears. How about eight so each of us can get two each? The sweet potato dish was a quarter of a potato. The last dish to arrive was the swordfish. There were three comically small pieces on the plate. Each piece was less than one inch big. Had to be 3oz of protein at the most. We called over the owner and politely asked if it would be possible to get a fourth piece as there were four of us and the pieces were so small. He pretended like it wasn’t up to him and retreated to the kitchen. Came back to say they would have to charge us for another dish if we wanted another comically small piece. I told him his response was ridiculous and he got snippy with us. He did nothing to try to defuse the situation, just total attitude and then hid in the kitchen the rest of the meal and ignored us. It’s clear he has zero interest in making his guests feel welcomed. We literally ordered the entire menu and ordered multiple rounds of drinks. The bill was well over $350 and we couldn’t get a small piece of fish so each of us could get a taste? There was no offer of “hey sorry about, coffee is on us” or bring out a small dessert and say it’s comped. It’s clear he has no talent in finding a positive outcome to guest requests. He should go back to being a blogger and leave the restaurant business to those that understand how to make guests feel welcomed and taken care of. We left annoyed, frustrated, and hungry.

I’ll go 2 stars because the dishes were well executed and all tasted good. The pork Milanese was the loan highlight. We should have ordered 4 of them and gotten the salad as app.
Instead, we ordered the entire menu. The portions are comically small. We had a group of 4 and we all left hungry enough to get sandwiches at a bar afterwards.
The service is pretentious. They made us feel uncomfortable and rushed. The pacing was too fast. We were out of there in about an hour.
The drinks were ok. It’s a small list and options are limited. The white Negronis were unremarkable.
The owner (who pretended he wasn’t owner) got snippy with us when we commented about how small the serving of swordfish was. It was 3 small pieces. We had a party of 4 and it just felt like they coulda threw another piece on the plate given the amount we ordered and cost of the bill.
Even after acting unprofessionally, in an awkward exchange, they didn’t offer us anything to make us feel more comfortable.
It basically seems like they’re shooting for acclaim or awards and lost sight of the idea of actually feeding people.
I won’t be back and can’t see how a place like this survives very long.

Everything here is fantastic — the food, the ambiance, the service, the wine, the location. Classy but not overdone, with food that is both new and comforting somehow. Was also informed that this was a good place to hear gossip? I recommend the pork. Just WOW
