What a delicious, surprising menu, all food meticulously created to the finest detail. The small, cozy dining room with a wonderful staff and Miss Rachel exceeds my expectations. I highly recommend it, and just a reminder, reservations go live on their website the first Friday of the month for the upcoming month. This restaurant is a gem.

Yes it's pricey but the 5 course meal (plus biscuits pre-meal, the refreshing non-alcoholic beverages) are so worth it. The service is impeccable, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I've been lucky to have been here twice and can't wait to go again. You pay in advance with the reservation for a 2 person table but there is no check to deal with when the meal is over. It's also BYOB. The dishes are delectable and clearly crafted with care and creativity. It's a delicious example to any non-vegan foodies in your life of how great vegan food can be. If the portions seem small in the pictures, that's misleading. Both times I was fairly full and they boxed up leftovers.

Love and hate that it’s become so hard to get a reservation here lately. Rachel deserves all the success because she is amazing! The food is ridiculously good, the service is impeccable and the ambiance (especially in the summer) is magical. A hidden South Philly gem.

MRP is a wonderful experience - the food, the staff and service, the owner Rachel, the open airy space, the neighborhood. The 5 course meal was delicious and creative - displaying culinary technique in a comforting and unassuming way. This isn't easy to pull off. The business model (pre-pay, prix-fix) seems to give Rachel the freedom and protection to deliver an extraordinary experience in a sustainable way. The dill caviar was a delicious surprise and a highlight. The cashew burrata with asparagus was extraordinary. I wish fine dining was always this fun. I'll be back.

Fantastic food model where you pay ahead including tip and then just show up (all at the same time, 6pm) and eat whatever the brilliant young chef Rachel makes. No food waste this way, and you will love everything. Rachel comes out at the end to chat and is the sweetest angel. Courses included mini biscuits as soon as we sat down, decadent savory pastry, pasta, soup with a crab cake, amazing sauces where you won't want to leave a drop, a creative non-alcoholic spritzer, great coffee, excellent handling of your BYO bottle, lovely service all-around. Our favorite dish was the savoy cabbage roll stuffed with oyster mushrooms. Portions are the perfect size so you don't get overly-stuffed though you will be very full. Left with a gift of tender chocolate cookies which we had for breakfast the next day.

I am not a vegan and I love this spot. Delicious food. Went twice in 2months everything was outstanding. How they course out the food, the service. Everything is perfection. You will leave feeling very FULL 😍

I came here for a vegan friend’s graduation dinner and it was one of the meals that actually convinced me to take the vegan leap-of-faith. The food left wonderful warm feelings in my heart and the ambiance was pure love.

We’ve visited twice for special birthday meals and I’m not sure I have the superlatives. The experience starts with a fun, homey decor where we were warmly greeted and shown to our seats. Each course was delicious and played beautifully. This is a perfect spot for a date or any special occasion or any time you want to treat your palate.
