The fact that some people are leaving horrible reviews on here is truly BONKERS to me. I love Mood Indian. Fast, reliable, flavorful and friendly. I've ordered from here a couple times a month for the past two years and it's been more consistent than my chronic pain. The few times there has been a hiccup, I simply called and let them know what was going on and they resolved it immediately. So happy this spot wasn't one of the many forced their doors during the panoramic -- I simply don't know wtf I would do.

This is the best Indian food I have had in a long time. Definitely the best I have had in Philly. We got the curry chicken, palak paneer and naan. Absolutely delicious.

Quickest delivery, but the food doesn't taste Indian. I am not sure who or how it's cooked, but it lacks that punch of flavor I'm normally uses to.

I have ordered from here on Grubhub at least 3 times now, I ordered the chicken biryani, chicken makhani and eggplant curry and every dish was great and full of flavor. I am used to home cooked Indian and Pakistani food and this place is a good substitute for it for sure. Full of flavor and spice, not watered down like most of the Indian restaurants in the city! The customer service is good as well and fast delivery. This place is underrated and needs more credit.

Abysmal. Samosas / pakoras were rubbery and greasy (definitely had been sitting a while) and THEY FORGOT THE CHUTNEYS. Criminal!! The mango lassi was nuclear orange, and so sweet / artificial tasting, I threw it away. The curries were weirdly oily. The order arrived late, and one of the dishes seemed like it had just been slapped together at the last minute - the onions were still half raw. Worst Indian food I've had in years. This is what I get for cheating on Ekta! Never again.

Mood Indian restaurant is a hidden Philadelphia gem. The level of flavor coming out of this restaurant is way beyond any of the chain restaurants. This is comfort food. There is love in the food. From the appetizers to the desserts there is nothing on the mood menu that is subpar. My favorite dishes after a long day are the biryani, sagg paneer, and vegetable samosas. You can never go wrong with any of the curries either. I have been to about every Indian restaurant in philly over the last 5 years and I keep returning to mood. It is simply the best.

Lamb dish was well spiced, and the portions were pretty reasonable. With a little big of a discount for an online order, definitely worth it. I'd eat here again for the rogan josh and naan.

I was really excited about the chicken biryani and muglai pukao. I ordered the chicken biryani and asked them to make it SPICY but edible. The biryani was so spicy, it literally felt like there was red chilli sprinkled on the rice but the taste was good! 3 stars solely for the taste saving the day. Would definitely try again with lesser spice. The chicken was very chewy and ruined the biryani. Raita was very thick and felt like it was expired or something.Overall, it was pretty basic experience. Wouldn't recommend for great INDIAN BIRYANI experience.

My friend was visiting me from NYC and we were excited to to try out the food at this place after seeing decent reviews. We got the chicken saag and mutter paneer and a bunch of naan and other apps. By the end of the night/ this morning we both had food poisoning. We're both still reeling from the encounter and reached out to seamless about the issue. They were great but ofc the restaurant denies it was them. Let that 57 health score speak for itself . It was also the only food either of us had had that day. This is a case of negligence in the kitchen. Food needs to be kept to the right temps and food safety needs to be adhered too. I haven't seen my friend in months and we can't even have fun together because she's in bed sick af. And I had a horrible day at work running to the bathroom to have diarrhea. BEWARE ORDERING FROM HERE! We threw out all the left overs in fear of making ourselves even more sick such a waste.

My favorite place. The butter chicken is so good. I always get chicken makhani and butter naan. Probably biweekly if not every week. It’s so good.
