I’m not sure what made this visit so bad. Was it being carded at lunch when I wasn’t even drinking? The guard brushing it off like it was normal? The waiter getting upset because he used sweet-and-sour mix for my lemonade and I called him on it? Or being told to put a card down as if I were going to the bar, when I was seated in a booth?
This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a very long time. Needless to say, I will not be returning—and I’ll be sure to let others know about this experience as well.
P.S. While my grown friends and I were carded just to enter, we walked in to see two young children already seated at tables.

I wish there was a zero star option so I could give it to the worst place/ rudest staff. Save your money and go somewhere else

Rudest Staff ever!. Brought my friend from Germany to check it out, who presented a Physical ID, but the Security asked him about his US visa? Excuse me?. Nerve again!

Cool spot. Tables are reserved and no one really says anything to you, so if you are not familiar it is not very welcoming inside. Chicken tender basket was real regular but the grilled chicken southwest ceaser was really good.

We decided to head over here for dinner Tuesday night to get our little one some outside time. It is ok to bring kids in with you as long as you are out before 9pm - which was definitely our plan since it was a school night. We were seated initially at once of the tables by the water, but ended moving to a booth not directly next to the water since it was a little breezy and more brisk then we expected.
Staff, including our waitress, were all really friendly and the service was very timely. Didn't feel like it took very long between ordering items and it being brought to us, but also wasn't too fast if that makes sense. Everything was ok, didn't have any complaints on our meal. Our little one enjoyed her food and taking everything around her - saw a couple of sail boats and the trains passing under the bridge got her really excited lol.
It's always a cool spot on the water I've been to with friends/to hangout - now we know it's an okay spot to bring a kid too (just earlier in the evening).

If you want to enjoy the view of the bridge, do yourself a favor: grab a sandwich and head to the pier next door. At Morgan’s Pier, the only thing you’ll get served is about three liters of reused grease
Today 8/30/2025 I drove 2 hours to Morgan’s Pier excited to have a good time with my best friend. When I got there, I realized I accidentally left my physical ID at home. I’m 32 years old and offered to show a photo of my ID along with multiple cards with my name on them. The staff member refused to let me in without the physical ID which I understood, since rules are rules.
However, not even 5 minutes later, I watched the same staff member allow a white woman and her son (clearly a minor, maybe 11–13 years old) to enter after checking only her ID. When I asked why I was being denied entry while they were being let in, he avoided eye contact and gave me no real explanation other than “that’s his mom.” I even said I didn’t need to drink, I just wanted to sit and eat with my friend who had her ID, but I was still denied.
The double standard was humiliating, discriminatory, and ruined my experience. If policies are going to be enforced, they should be enforced fairly and consistently not selectively (for certain “types” of people. I won’t be returning and will share my experience with others.

Was treated terribly by security. Then they called down to another bar to deny me entrance I don’t recommend and I won’t be going back. This place will be out of business in a year.
