Food was pretty decent felt I got skimped on steak in my big steak omelette. Ordered a side of pork bacon never got it asked for cheese on my potatoes was charged for itbut never got it, ordered a bagel didn't get it until they came with the check. An improvement would be to have one designated food runner to work alongside the host and the waitress on the dinning area. You will wait for your food and you will wait to get seated.

This place is ALWAYS ALWAYS late and takes waaaayyy too long for their food to be done. The food is good. But they loose a lot of points because of this infraction. If I place a take out order at 10:45a and it’s 12:20 and they say “it’s still another 10 mins to finish making it” that is ridiculous. You have three locations! Why don’t you have one location dedicated to ONLY DELIVERIES. Since you apparently can’t manage both at one location. It’s been too many years for this to still be a problem. Hope they do better in the future. But I won’t be ordering from there again.

Good food marred by slow service. The food we did get was good, however the order was incomplete and the waiter did not bring our other food items even after a follow up. Additionally service was slow including a long wait to receive the check. I would still recommend the place, but perhaps not at peak hours when they can more thoroughly accommodate patrons.

This location does not compare to the Chestnut Hill location.The service is extremely slow,, waitress disappeared into the kitchen for long periods of time. I thought maybe she was cooking and serving.It was very cold inside and there were space heaters throughout the dining space. I ate my breakfast with my coat on. We waited on our food for well over 45 minutes.I ordered a red velvet waffle and received pancakes.Very disappointed in this visit.

Our server was very nice and attentive. I had the sauted shrimp and grits which were delicious. The shrimp was so well seasoned, and the grits were creamy. They have a lot of vegan options, so my plant based eating sister was able to enjoy a hearty meal. Will be back.

Every time I order to make out here there is an issue, whether they mess up the order, the order takes over an hour etc. this time is my last time. Because my order was over $60- I had to pay with a credit card (incur an extra charge not by choice), and told it would be 30 minutes. I knew there would be an issue when it took me 8 minutes and 45 seconds just to place the order over the phone. The woman who took the ordered fumbled and bumbled the whole way through. I was made to pay, although I explained her repeating my credit card number out loud was a security issue she insisted so I paid. My husband rides around there after about 35 minutes to pick up our food- surprise surprise they never put the food order in- I placed this order at 9:15AM, it is now 10:30, and I still have no food.The food is always quality so I can't complain about that, but the take out service is horrible and a deterrent. A message to Breakfast Boutique. I also own a business and I am black, it is not easy- capital is scarce, and especially in food the competition is tough! But you can't let those items stop you from good service and being the best you can be. This neighborhood deserves a quality business with competent and quick staff that can assist. I am sad to say this will be my last time patronizing Breakfast Boutique of Mt. airy. The level is service for the price is inexcusable.

We used to love it here and raved about it. It has gone down hill 100 percent.Waited forever to be seated and food. My husband’s food came out cold, twice. We never got any drinks after two requests and had to ask for the check three time. Drinks were included on the check. Waited forever for a new check.Won’t be coming back till we start hearing or reading better reviews.

today I have to leave a sad review of a place I used to loveOur waitress today had something going on.She never brought out or drinks and we asked a few times, she every commented on if I forgot your drink.I also had to send my fish cake back because it was cold in the middle, the 2nd cake same issue,At that point it was time to go.No drinks, cold fish cake ,The check is taking for ever ,Oh look 4 drink chargers for drinks that were brought out.They removed it .But still the service went down hill from my five start review from the past.There’s always been a long-ish wait here, but never I’ve ever gotten cold food twice and never have ever not received my whole order.We were not the only table or customer that received poor service today, (11/5/23)One one left cussing and screaming,And the table behind us had a complaint about every single thingI wanted to speak to a manger to voice my opinion but I didn’t want to wait any longer. I just wanted to be done and remove my self from the disappointment .I really hope it improves as this used to be one of my favorite spaces to bring friends from out of town.server gets better training if it’s lack of training, more cooks

Food just wasn’t good. Met a friend and we ordered French toast with chicken tenders. Tenders were extremely small. Three little tenders and the French toast was soggy. Sent it back and it still wasn’t right. No apologies or accountability, just bad service. I left feeling it was a waste of money.
