Today, I had a taste for delicious Jamaican food. I live in NE Philadelphia, but I have no problem jumping in the car and traveling to Wharton Street in South Philly to see Mr. Rich and get his curry chicken, rice and peas, yams and greens. My wife likes the rice and peas, yams and Mac n cheese. It is so worth the time and travel.
The owner is caring and personable also. I'm trying to get him to have a location in the NE. I'm sure it would do well, ya'mon. God bless him

Straight (3) 5 stars well deceit restaurant. Love the food, Mac & cheese, Yams and Jerk Chicken so delicious! Take a chance with it, a pure gem. Had to travel out to Camden NJ for my soul food, found something better, cheaper and best of all very close to home.

Mr Jerk is a welcoming and pleasant establishment with authentic Jamaican cuisine. The food is delicious and the portions are are generous. My wife and I live in NE Philly at we are willing to travel down to South Philly for Mr. Rich's food. He is truly has his finger on the pulse of the people.
