I had Mr.Jerk for the first time, the other Day ordered from Uber eats. The Food was fresh and the portions were large!! I was not a fan of the Oxtail as there were too Fatty and had a sweetness to them. The cabbage was pretty bland, but fresh. The rice and peas were Good. The Macaroni and cheese was sooo good, BEST Mac I had from any Jamaican store I ate from. FOURS STARS for the freshness, portions, and of course the Mac! Next time I’ll try the curry!

This is now my goto whenever I want some good Caribbean food/soul food. The food is great the portions are much larger than I expected. If u can’t take spicy food then dont get the jerk chicken tho bc I did n omg talk about spicy !😂😂 but I LOVE their food. They definitely won me over with the mac n cheese and cabbage amongst everything else. I have no complaints💕

I ordered pepper steak and never would have thought the steak would be smothered in what appears to be a spicy BBQ sauce versus and actual jerk or brown stew gravy.
The brown stew chicken is not worth the hype and the cabbage was mushy. $60 for platters that no one wanted to eat.

The curry chicken was so good.i ordered off of door dash too.never got my beef patty .i must say this is the first Jamaican restaurant i have had curry from in Philly that had potatoes in the curry chicken❤️.i will be eating from here for now on.

The food was ok. I had my food door dashed and it came relatively quick. The portions were hefty for a medium, which is a plus for me! The beef patty, macaroni and cheese, and sweet potatoes were really good. My only complaint was that the jerk chicken didn’t have as much flavor and the cabbage was mid at best.

Mr jerk is a Hidden gem in grays ferry. The jerk chicken and brown stew chicken were Fantastic. The staff was very friendly too. Will definitely be a regular spot for me in the future!

I ordered from here and but change from delivery to pick up. My boyfriend goes to pick up our order but the old guy talking about its still on delivery for door dash and had him waiting even tho the door dash says pick up. I notice he kiss up to females but always rude or got some smart shit to say to black males and I’m not liking it. And clearly you can’t see it says pick up.

They give u too much rice n its dry the rolls are good but give u one tiny sauce n u get like 4 the wait is too long n food is pricey the food can be a lil better for me to pay that price again i was displeased with my food n I brought alot for two homes
