Great food and quick service. Came here with a hungry group, and our food came pretty quickly and hit the spot! A few of us split a scallion pancake, and it was quite good--flaky/not hard and had some nice layers. It was on the small side but still good for sharing. I tried the knife cut roast pork stir fry noodles and enjoyed the flavor of the meat and the slightly varied textures of the noodles! Very flavorful but not too rich. I enjoyed the veggies that gave a nice texture contrast with the noodles. I also sampled some of the house noodle bowl with the hand pulled noodles, which were also great! The broth was tasty, and there were a lot of varied meats and veggies included. With the solid food, fair prices, and good location, I'd definitely come here again!

I come by here almost weekly for lunch, you just cannot beat the noodles here, these are truly fresh made stretched or shaved noodles. You can taste the freshness and enjoy the authentic texture. All of their hot soups with these noodles are excellent , I have tried several stir fried dishes with these noodles, everything here is a very good portion and very excellent tasting and fresh The dumplings are out of this world tasty and fresh, they make a sampler with various dumplings fried or steamed, they have veggie dumplings, just a large selection of very good food to indulge in! I have been coming here since I found this place a year ago while visiting Chinatown, I enjoy all the food here and the culture, if you're not sure just ask and they will guide you according to your taste, you will be glad you stopped by!

My favorite comfort food Chinese restaurant in the city. The noodles here really are genuinely exceptional. My go to are the chicken stir fry noodles and the noodles and peanut sauce. Service is fast. Business is cash only. It's open on Christmas day. And honestly just a great spot. Do Attend.

This place is very busy, plenty of clientele. The food came out relatively fast though. Dumplings were good, nothing to complain of. We got it steamed but you can also get it fried instead for a dollar more. 7/10 The scallion pancake was good and crispy, lacked some flavor though. I had to dunk it in soy sauce so it wasn't too bland. 5/10 Sesame cold noodles was a light noodle dish, nothing special nothing to complain of 7/10 Overall price per amount/quality: 4/5

Unexpected and a pleasant visit to this noodle shop. The mixed platter with the spicy tendons and the pig ears was yummy and our favorite dish in terms of texture. Our beef soup noodle was our favorite overall. The flavors were amazing and my non-soup eater wife even approves. The service is quick on their feet and the dishes come out very quickly. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Philly

Great beef noodle soup spot for Philly. As suggested they are known for their beef noodle soup but there are a lot of other options on the menu. I love the mix of pickled vegetable and adding some hot sauce for your liking. I think the house specials have the pickled veg? But you can order it on the side as well. Because of its popularity of the beef noodle soup, there could be a line but wait isn't long. Overall a casual spot, good for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend if you are in town

Great food! Got the Ma Pao Tofu noodles (hand drawn) and the Szechuan Cold Noodles (knife cut and pork and chive dumplings to go. I've always wanted to try these styles of noodles and since I am here visiting and it was close by I jumped at the opportunity and it didn't disappoint! The hand drawn noodles I would recommend for the dishes that have a thicker sauce or soups and the hand cut noodles for anything that is a drier type of dish. The hand drawn noodles were a bit softer than the knife cut which was great for the Ma Pao Tofu dish and the knife cut has more of that QQ (chewy type) texture and is great for the Szechuan Cold Noodles. The Dumplings were great as well! Flavor and texture were spot on.You do have to have cash or the ability to pay by Venmo, but otherwise it's a great overall experience

This was my first restaurant outing after recently relocating to the Philly area. Couldn’t ask for a better welcome. Great food and the server who rang me up was super friendly. I ate here once before on a visit to Philly and liked it. It was even better this time. I got a cold noodle chicken dish. It was yum!

TLDR: I would probably give this place a 3/5 if I was still in LA, but it's a 4/5 here in Philly. The staff are kind of funny. The restaurant seems clean. The food is a bit plain. As a cash only place, I'm surprised they also take Venmo. I ordered the Beef Tendon Noodle Soup, but the waitress seemed to have misheard me and brought out the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup instead. When I told her that I wanted the tendon noodle soup, she shook her head frantically and said that I probably ordered wrong. I assured her that it was fine and that I would happily just eat the Brisket. The food itself was a bit plain. I don't think the flavor of the meat or broth were strong enough to balance the plainness of the noodles. I also found the meat to be a bit chewy and rubbery in texture. I do think the presentation was nice and it smelled really good. I also liked how there were plenty of vegetables in the soup too. I think the pickled vegetables did help add a bit more flavor to some of the bites. I like how the waitress was really good about refilling my water glass. She seemed really nice. I'm sure the order mix up was just a misunderstanding. I felt a bit bad about telling her that's not what I ordered because she seemed genuinely worried. Overall, I would probably come back if I was in the area. I can't judge an entire menu based off of one item after all.

So delicious, fast, and quality. I ordered the seafood hand drawn noodles stir fried and it came within 10 minutes of me ordering it pipping hot. They only take cash or venmo here so make sure you have before you arrive or else they have an unbranded ATK to withdraw, but there will be a charge to use.I recommend this spot for a nice, quality, fast lunch or dinner.

@ Philly Chinatown, took out beef brisket hand drawn noodle. The soup wasn't too salty and had a nice beef bone flavor, the brisket was tender and noodles were hand drawn.

Braised Sliced Beef Noodle Soup So tasty!!! Great casual Chinese noodle shop. They hand pull their noodles, and the texture of fantastic. The beef is tender and moist, and the soup itself is just delicious. So great for comfort food, for a cold day, or just really whenever. And Super affordable!

Yeah it's good. Really really good. Get the sliced beef noodle, spicy. Chive and pork dumplings also fire. Stir fried noodles are a pass next time though. Noodles are the same as the ones in the beef noodle soup, but just don't do it for me texture wise when stir fried. Too soft (that's what she...never said).
