Food is excellent, pity we couldn't sit in the front part of the restaurant, it is much more attractive than the back

Gamarjoba has been a hidden gem of NE Philly till it was included in the best 10 Philly restaurants by the Inquirer. It deserves this recognition. Low key, cozy and affordable place with amazing food and service! And since it's an authentic Georgian cuisine, lamb dishes are a must to try. Hinkali ( dumplings) are the tastiest I have ever had. The hachapuri ( cheese bread) are out of this world. Try their dessert, which they make and bake on the premises. We had the Napoleon cake and the signature pear dessert. My friends and I were very pleased with our dinner at Gamarjoba.

Gamarjoba was an absolute delight! The food was delicious — the salad was incredibly fresh, and the dessert was just perfect. What truly stood out, though, was the kindness of the wait staff. At one point, I noticed grapes growing outside, and a gentleman (possibly the owner) kindly stopped what he was doing just to hand me a beautiful grape. Such a thoughtful and genuine gesture really shows the warmth of this place. Highly recommend not only for the food but also for the hospitality!

I was in this restaraunt of couple of times. The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. Our server Tina was absolutely fantastic! The wine is incredible! The hachapuri and ostri was amazing!

When you get the bill for your meal, you are shocked because instead of $400 as stated on the menu, you get a check for $520, which is the amount you need to pay!

This place is high quality in all areas!! I went there with a large group and we shared a variety of dishes, all of which I enjoyed. We started with pickled cabbage & pepper, kachapuri imeruli, khinkali kalakuri, and hot shrimp salad. The latter was definitely a highlight as they made the shrimp perfectly crispy and the sauce was delicious; I loved the fresh dill on top as well. The khinkali were super flavorful too and I loved the juiciness of them - almost like Chinese soup dumplings but not as soupy.

Then I tried the mushroom soup which was lovely & flavorful. It had both button mushrooms & wood ears, and the fresh dill on top added a nice touch. For an entree I tried the salmon mtsvadi which was pretty well made & had a nice level of crispiness on the outside & softness on the inside, with a lovely sweet & sour sauce. Another entree I tried is the chicken mtsvadi, which comes with a very tasty, uniquely flavored red sauce. The chicken was made perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We also tried roasted vegetables and eggplant with walnut as sides which were very tasty as well.

The service was top notch as well. The servers were all friendly and helpful.

The atmosphere is lovely with attention to detail and beauty, making the experience quite comfortable for guests.

I had an experience of talking to a restaurant manager, a girl who is not polite answers the phone, and the kitchen turns out to be already closed at 9:30, and they themselves close at 10:30, although google It is said that at 11, a bad impression was left because of the manager.

After being charged for the salt shaker my little one broke by accident we will never come again. After spending so much money by celebrating a lot of events, dinners and lunches there it was sad to be treated like this. So I hope it was worth for them to loose a good customer. Poor management. Food is ok and very overpriced.

I recently visited the Georgian restaurant Gamarjoba and I was absolutely amazed! 💫 Everything was perfect – the atmosphere, the service, the staff, the music, and of course, the delicious food. 🙌🏻 I can honestly say that among all the restaurants I’ve been to in America, Gamarjoba is truly my favorite! ❤️ I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to everyone!მადლობა.
