I always have an amazing experience every time I eat at New Rubies. I’ve been coming here for over 6 years, and from the food to the staff, everything has consistently been excellent! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and great service!!!!!

Amazing restaurant super sweet food is amazing the daughters are amazing super nice and friendly and helps out all the time mommy cooks amazing and her food is always delicious this is the best restaurant in the city!

I got the 4 wing/ beef lo mein combo. The wings were fine, but the noodles weren’t good at all. They were dry, no sauce, and only a few small pieces of beef, no veggies. They tried to fix the order but then they were just noodles in a watery sauce. I should have gone down to one of the spots in Manayunk, this wasn’t worth it at all.

This business is not kind to BLACK PEOPLE.

So, I came to get my pregnant wife some food because she was craving Chinese. As I stood in line there was a white male customer in front of me. The cashier clearly and loudly, greeted the customer politely. Emphasis on loudly. So when I get to the register next, I greeted her clearly and loudly, and as she went to greet me back she looked up and stopped herself. She was literally about to greet me and stopped with her mouth still open. She intentionally did not greet me back. I chuckled to myself and took note of it. As a black man I’ve seen this before.

So after she gave me my food, before I turned to leave, while standing there I intentionally said “Have a good one! Loudly and clearly. Of course she ignored me. So I said it again even louder and wouldn’t you guess it, she looked me dead in my face, opened her mouth and said nothing!! So clearly intentional. I guess she thinks people like me are beneath her.

Got food delivered for dinner. It was delivered fast & still piping hot when it got to us. Everything was fresh and delicious!

Food was really good! I had the beef in spicy garlic sauce. It was flavorful, tender, and saucy.

My God I love this place and the wonderful family that runs it. Very professional, great customer service, kind, clean place, WONDERFUL FOOD! I Love the cucumber soup, the fruit 🤤 is very good, I'm a personal fan of their Beef Lo Main , their Hot & Sour Soup and their egg rolls are always fresh. I am happy bringing friends & family here from time to time. Worth the travel and worth the wait for good quality food. Aloha ! 🤙🏽🐻🤙🏽🙂👋🏽

Prices are ridiculous for small portions and flavorless food. Will not be returning.
