Steve and his staff are so kind and have the best tomato pie for a price you can't beat. They are fantastic neighbors to have and always take the time to ask how you're doing; it's a temptation every day they're open to walk over and say hi and grab lunch. Can't recommend them enough!
A Real “Old School Working Bakery “… Great bread, roll’s, bagels and tomato pie. Steve & staff can’t be nicer. They have a selection of danish, muffins etc only on Sunday. Go Enjoy!
This is classic South Philly - big ol oven built into the wall , multi generation family operation , such a cool spot. I went for my first time and the owner Steve could tell I was into bread and pizza and history and stuff and invited me back to check out how he bakes everything and showed me all the old machines, the mixer, the dough separator.
