Absolute hidden gem, some of the best sandwiches In the city and great service! Pro tip, get the spicey turkey and ask them to add avocado!

Delicious, fresh Vietnamese-inspired hoagies, and Philly-inspired Banh Mi! My go to is the Spicy Turkey Banh Mi. The food tastes very fresh every time and has great portion sizes. I also recommend the pretzels - the pizza one is my favorite. Lovely service every time as well - I think it was opened by a mom and daughter. No indoor seating, but it’s directly off the Tasker subway stop so easy to get to and take to eat in a park in the Passyunk area- I highly recommend giving it a try!

Everything I've tried from this place has been good. Had the Turkey Rueben today and it was so good I had to leave a review lol.

Just had a banh mi sandwich and Thai tea from this neighborhood gem. Perfect sandwich and drink for my lunch break with friendly service. Prices were very reasonable as well. This will be a regular visit for me from now on. A great restaurant to have in the neighborhood!

I've been here a couple of times and left with a smile each time. It's really cute and cozy, a comforting small family owned business. The food was really good, and reasonably priced. Thai tea was made to perfection, and so were the sandwiches. I would come here everyday if I could. Extremely humble people.

Newbold cafe is one of my new favorites! I was so impressed with the quality of ingredients💯the Iced coffee and Thai tea were delicious and $4 for a large is unbeatable in this area! I tried the chipotle chicken wrap and chicken pesto wrap and both were hefty and so fresh! Will be back soon 🫡🫡

First disclaimer, I eat here too much, but, in a land where the sandwich is the pinnacle of all food, I present to you a place that treats it like a proper art form. The lunch meat is perfectly sliced and layered. The condiments and toppings are placed with a love that when you take a bite, it all melds into unison. When you eat these sandwiches, you understand why Philly is a foodie town because even a small little shop like this understands the importance of flavor and consistency. The owner is so nice and very much takes pride in what she serves you. I love the roast beef banh mi because it’s such a wonderful blend of Vietnamese/Philly influence that makes the sandwich totally magical and original. It is a perfect example of South Philly deliciousness!

I had the Italian, it was tasty and unique flavor, neatly made and a good size for about $12 which is competitive price for a large hoagie. Not as big as some but the quality speaks to the pride of the owners and workers, which can’t be said of all sandwich shops in South Philly. I think this is a new favorite spot for me, def will be back to try their bahn mi and other specialty sandwiches.

I would say this is classy food a level or two higher than most of the stuff on this side of Broad street, which uplifts the neighborhood imo. Nice ladies working there.

No frills place but damn the roast beef Banh mi was to die for. Get the Banh mi! The veggie Mediterranean was not as good, so unless you have dietary restrictions just go for the Banh mi and you will not regret it. The ladies running the place were soooo nice! Gave us chips with our sandwiches and the Thai iced tea was so delicious!

Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options

Parking: There’s not much steeet parking but I just pulled over somewhat illegally and placed my order and got the sandwiches quickly!

Kid-friendliness: There is room for kids inside it’s a big open space but not that much seating.

First time going here and I will be back. The pineapple and guava lemonade is so good. I definitely reccomend the Tuna hoagie on a seeded roll with Swiss cheese. The owner was also very welcoming.
