I ordered through Door Dash. I had the fish platter with grits , eggs and blueberry french toast.. Strawberry lemonade on the side. EVERYTHING TASTE FRESH, It arrived still warm šš½ everything was delicious !

I stopped in here for the first time this morning. The staff was very friendly and sat with me to take my order. It was very nice. The restaurant does not serve pork, so do not worry if you have restrictions. Non-meat fare is available as well. I thought the food was good and the potatoes were well seasoned. I recommend trying this place and would return

Small hole in the wall breakfast spot. The pancakes are amazing and it's a delight to eat there.

Ordered thru Grubhub and everything was delicious. Very generous portions. Well packed and hot when delivered. I'll definitely be ordering here again. The fish & grits were very well seasoned. The French toast was good as well.

Iāve ordered the same meal breakfast, several times and requested catchup with my home fries each time however, each time the delivery guy comes here. I donāt have my ketchup. I just called and spoke to. I believe the owner of the man who answered the phone and only saying he can say is Iām sorry I live right around the corner and he says I donāt have anybody to bring you ketchup. Itās terrible. I mean simple instructions. I aināt speaking English. Thereās no excuse for not fulfilling. The contract I paid for service And I didnāt get full service. Unacceptable.

So I came in yesterday for Motherās Day , My mom wanted to go somewhere else cause she never heard of the restaurant and it looked dim but when we was looking for restaurants the reviews said nope you gotta eat there and you must try the gumbo so after some convincing we went in not the most pleasing looking restaurant not dirty but more so outdated ,but in a fun kind of way they have a old school phone booth that we took pictures in non of the plates matched which was fine cause it reminded of a actual home I like the the owner came and introduced himself and ask to have a seat and made sure we got everything we needed I already ordered the gumbo but he suggested it and give the rest of my party a sample . When I tell you the gumbo was so good I called my best friend who never had gumbo and told her to come and she was amazed I can honestly say we loved everything the home feeling the comfort food , the prices it was a party of 4 we had aloooottt of food cause we wanted to try everything and it was only 75 dollars or so with drinks and laughter and nostalgia included will worth glad I convinced my family to give this Philly hidden gem a try also No pork for all my non pork eaters in Philly give this place a try . When I come back to Philly to visit definitely going back

I just moved to the area and was looking for some breakfast. This was the only spot open close to me on a Sunday. Wow. But I admit, the food was spot on. I can tell this place most likely boomed before the pandemic but the orders and pickups were still coming in. The sweetheart at the counter when I came in had a very thick accent so I couldn't understand him at first. Other than that my experience and food was great. I'll definitely be back. My daughter also loved the silver dollar pancakes with powdered sugar.

Itās a nice cozy place but it screams awesome!!!! I had the Salmon Cakes (never had it), it was delicious, along with the home friesā¦. I totally recommend this placeā¦ they have sit down and take out.
