Friendly service, good value. $6.75 cash for two eggs, home fries with peppers and onions, and two slices of toast. No coffee available, and the home fries were a bit mushy. No tables. Went May 10 '25

Ghost kitchen, wasted 30 minutes of my time walking here only for them to be closed when they said it was open and not a real place

I get a bacon egg and cheese with a regular sized half and half. Does me right every time. They scramble the egg instead of doing that lil omelette. I like it. lol. They close at 1pm. They also be busy around 11 so if you calling you and aren’t getting an answer, keep calling. If you don’t call before you order, you will be waiting. All the older people be in there

Have to order ahead. They’re pretty slow there. However I understand because the husband and wife are up there in age and don’t move as fast as they used to

This isn’t a formal, high-end, classic Italian restaurant by any means. It’s an old restaurant with a long history that has passed through multiple generations and served decent food to a variety of appreciative clientele over the years. I’m always taken aback, however, whenever I see televisions and bingo screens prominently displayed for all to see, even those well beyond the bar area. For Cherry Wonderdog, this immediately shot down the notion of Nikki’s being a place to celebrate a special meal. The interior was somber, with a bit of a Godfather feel, and the discolored upholstered benches where we sat could have used new padding twenty years ago. They reminded me of the seats in our town’s historic movie theater, which, until recently, hadn’t been replaced since the 1950s. My tasty Yuengling on draft hit the spot with just the right amount of foam. Priced at below $4, it was a bargain. Our early bird specials seemed like a good deal, too. Each of us started off with a house salad – the kind premade in the morning from a bag of wilted iceberg salad mix and left in the refrigerator for quick distribution that night. My turkey meal was pretty good even though the meat did not feel like it had been cut recently from an actual bird. Similarly, the canned cranberry sauce in a small plastic cup felt cheap. My wife was surprised by the quality of her breaded broiled haddock, but somehow she ended up with a surcharge for an unnecessarily large portion of mashed potato which the server later got approval to remove. In sum, Nikki’s was a very good offering given the price. It would be grossly unfair to compare it against a genuine Italian bistro in NYC costing twice as much. At the same time, it could still benefit from a few upgrades to enhance its product for the local crowd.

i went on a frightening walk to this spot from my soccer game. i can't say the area was nice, and there were limited vegetarian options.

My husband took me to Nikki's for Mother's Day. Our waitress was so pleasant and attentive to our requests (a glass of water, additional napkin etc.) The food was good, but not "rave worthy". Our appetizers were average - fried meatballs, arancini, mozzarella sticks. My husband had the Stuffed Haddock. He thought it was a bit dry and hard to find the crab in the crab stuffing. The garlic mashed potatoes were heavy and the garlic was strong. I had Pot Roast with regular mashed potatoes which was a nice meal, but nothing really stood out about it. Carrots were in the description of the meal but weren't served; however, our waitress brought a side of carrots for me. My husband liked his Bloody Mary, but I found my Peach Sangria lacking in peach flavor. We passed on dessert, though the selections were tempting. Prices were reasonable. We might possibly go back and try their Italian food. That seemed to be more of their specialty.

Tonight we dined here... I'm not sure what to say. Between the peeling 1980's wall paper and the ridiculous interior low lighting, it was not a welcoming site. To read the menu we had to use our phones flash light.. We just left the restaurant... I will not be going back... Husband had Seafood Combo.. The butter was the only saving grace to this dish, bland is being kind, the unfried crab cake was topped with uncooked bread crumbs... the pasta that accompanied it was the only edible part of the dish. Salads that came with the dinner smelled like old refrigerator.. None of us ate them... I ordered the Egg Plant Parm. it was uncooked ... period.. Our waiter continually passed dishes for the others in front of my face, too close for comfort... dishes are served on the left not in front of my face. The entire bill was near $100.00 and again very disappointing... Never goin back.
