I am writing this a little late but my husband and I ordered our wedding cake from Nutmeg for our wedding at the end of September this year and we cannot recommend them enough!
We corresponded with the owner who was prompt with communication and really kind and easy to coordinate with. Not only that, but the talent on the Nutmeg team truly is unmatched.
We had so many ideas swirling in our head and Meg really helped us narrow down our ideas into an actual deliverable concept. She was very clear with what options we had, very transparent to how that translated to pricing, and it felt like a true collaborative effort where we had ultimate control of what we wanted our cake to look like with her professional opinion and expertise on what would actually look good.
Their creativity is endless and the options we had was beyond what we thought we'd have in the process.
Our cake not only was gorgeous and felt very reflective of our personality as a couple, but also tasted amazing. We did not have a lot of leftovers to bring home.
Related to that, we also really appreciated from Nutmeg that they truly have you in mind; we had a secondary dessert option for our wedding and they recommended a portion sizing that worked perfectly with that in mind, and made it clear they care about your day and what is practical and going to work for you and not just the price tag.
We highly recommend them for any couple's wedding day if you want a standout cake that is going to look super unique and also taste amazing, and to be honest we look forward to continuing to order from them for any future special occasion we may have!

I'm not currently in the market for a cake but I saw them listed on the Too Good to Go app I decided to pick it up a sweet treat.
I didn't even realize there were industrial bakeries where they're located. I just rang the bell to pick up the bag, so I didn't see inside to see if there's a storefront type appearance for cake tastings but the woman was very nice as we briefly spoke.
My bag included five containers of different cake slices which appear to be the remains from cake samples. If you just want a small dessert for two or three people and don't need it to look pretty, it's perfect. The app is typically the food left at the end of a shift or in this case it appears to be pieces of cake that were scraps cut off as they shaped a wedding cake. They app did say the bags may vary and you can't pick flavors but still a great deal if you like a surprise. Again, it won't look pretty if you're buying it through the Too Good to Go, but it will still taste amazing.

If you're a dessert enthusiast and looking for unique flavors for your wedding cake and also beautiful design, Nutmeg is for you! We had a small cake to cut and cupcakes as well for our guests, 3 different flavors. Many people told me it was the best cake they had ever had at a wedding, and a few people told me it was the best cake they had EVER had. Very happy with the whole experience, Meg is very responsive.
