I have a nut and gluten allergy, so I have trouble finding places like this to eat. They were allergy friendly, but also absolutely delicious. Especially the strawberry rubarb donut. I highly recommend them!

We’ve been eating here for years and recently hired them to cater dessert for our wedding this past December at Bok building. They were easy to work with and the donuts were amazing as always. The flavors were a hit and our gluten-free guests were over the moon to be able to partake. We did mini donuts and a big donut for our cake. It all worked out great, highly recommend.

This take out place is the bomb. New flavors every month, weekly specials, constantly adding new items to the menu, and almost everything I've had has been 5/5 (skip the french fries, 4/5, stick with the tater tots).Delivery is through Postmates and fairly priced. I hope they have a dine-in option one day because the people who run the business also seem 5/5!

DO NOT SKIP OKIE DOKIE DONUTS! It truly does not get much better than this. Just out of curiosity, I searched "gluten-free donuts" on Yelp while we were driving through Philly & basically made my partner Tokyo Drift off the highway so that we could stop at Okie Dokie. The gentleman working the counter was so friendly & patient with us - Chit chatting with us about where were from & why were stopping at Okie Dokie, talking us through the menu & the allergy information, & just generally being the nicest dude ever. We ordered a dozen donuts & our order was ready in about 8 minutes. They were HOT! The first bite I took, I actually, seriously, genuinely, without hyperbole, cried. These donuts are like unicorns, except they actually do exist. Not only do they exist, but they're gluten-free. Not only do they exist & are gluten-free, they're also the best donuts I've ever had in my life. I can't wait to come back every single time I'm in the area.

It's...fine. I'd only recommend these doughnuts if you have dietary restrictions. $10 for two doughnuts is incredibly steep. The apple fritter was overly chewy and light on the apples, while the Boston cream was extremely dense with an unsatisfying filling-to-doughnut ratio.

My wife is gluten-free for medical reasons. To make things easier at home I decided to follow the same diet. Over the years, I started to prefer gluten-free cakes. This gem in South Philly has the best gluten-free donuts I’ve ever tasted. Can’t wait to visit again and try more of the menu. Customer service was as excellent as the product!

For all the hype it was given it definitely failed to live up to it. My partner and I were in town for a visit and figured we'd hit them up considering the they were getting praise on IG and the donuts looked good to the unassuming eyes. The person at the pickup window on (3/16/24) in the early afternoon was very weird to other partons one of which happened to be their fellow business neighbors, almost as though they were nervous. I found that to be sus given they're in a Black part of South Philly in between a Jamaican restaurant and a Barber shop. Just an observation so take that as you will. Anyways back to the food! So we brought a half dozen: 3 yeast donuts, 3 cake donuts along with 2 apple fritters. The yeast donuts were ok, not dry but not really moist, the maple was the only redeemable one of the bunch. The cake donuts were extremely dry and the texture was stodgy, which was the same for the apple fritters. Reminded me of the military rations my elder cousins described from his tour overseas. My partner is gluten free and was surprisingly disappointed. Only reason they're getting a one star is for the maple yeast. Sorry not sorry. We also got the donut bread pudding, will update this review later after we try it. Fingers crossed. Probably should've known when the Jamaican brothers came out the shop next door and gave me the "are you sure you wanna do that" head nod that this was a bad omen.

I loved donuts before my Celiac diagnoses and every time I'm in a new place people say, "oh try the GF donuts at such and such, they're *actually* good," but they never really live up to my memory of what good donuts were, until Okie Dokie! I don't know how they do it, the yeasted donuts are light and springy, classic flavor, not to sweet. They literally feel glutenous, but I've never gotten sick and they're obviously really good about GF. If you have Celiac and you're visiting Philly, skip the liberty bell and the rocky steps, run down to Okie Dokie and get yourself a half dozen.

This place had very fun options for donuts and we’re pretty good but the texture wasn’t for me. But they didn’t fall apart at all like other gluten-free donuts and vegan options as well. The apple fritter was my favorite.Dietary restrictions: This place is exclusively, gluten-free, and has vegan options

Hands down the best (GF) donuts I've ever had. Yeast raised and fritters are a MUST. Service was awesome at 8 am on a Sunday morning. I'd come back to Philly just for these donuts!

Posting about the popcorn chicken. This is the 3rd time I get a box of popcorn chicken and every single piece is a chewy awfully grey, dark color that has an off taste. One thing is dark meat chicken, this is something odd that is being deep fried. You have to improve your meat quality, this looks like chicken that is worst than a hole in the wall Chinese spot with questionable quality. Where is this chicken coming from? Please use better quality chicken. We can tell. No one of my friends wanted to try it. We were all grossed out. There’s no way every-time and every piece is grey or black looking meat. At least the chicken in your new sandwich looks a bit better.

Okie Dokie is a great little donut window with lots of options to accommodate people with various dietary concerns. I stopped by and got a vegan blueberry pancake donut, and it was super good! I miss cake-y donuts, so it was such a treat to find a delicious dense vegan donut with a yummy flavor. I would have liked to try other flavors as well... maybe next time I'm in Philly.
