Go to spot in Old City to grab a coffee! Their quality is unmatched and their baristas are very friendly. Their seating area is bigger than expected and super cute to meet a friend, study, or read a book. Always a great experience whether I am on the run or taking my time to stay a while.

Every employee here treats you like you’re some kind of leper spreading disease through their store. Doesn’t matter how many times you’ve been there. If I wanted to be treated badly while drinking average coffee I could just go visit my mom.

I watched two little kids licking their fingers then pushing them through the lids of the orange juice in the fridge. The dad didn’t buy the juice. The cashier didn’t throw them out.

Just go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, the coffee we got was sour, burnt, and frankly.. undrinkable.
We asked for new coffees, which they happily made us, but we ended up leaving without drinking any coffee.. this place is recommended by locals, so if you're not from the states, best to continue on your way to the next option.

The cutest little coffee shop hidden in a historic old timey Old City alley. Iconic. And support a small business!

Pretty neat spot to grab coffee!

Latte was not creamy enough for me but the flavor was good.

Loved the XL coffee I got yesterday at the Reading Terminal. I had to come check out this location down Church Street. Bring your laptop to come chill using their free Hot Spot and enjoy a cup of EXTREMELY HOT Delicious coffee. Plenty of tables and chairs. Even a nice restroom patrons can use. This time we decided to get some treats! A Raisin walnut muffin, cheddar scallion scone and a cream cheese bagel. All were very tasty but the scone and muffin were a little dry. But overall the prices are Excellent for Old City Philadelphia!! A bonus is that it opens at 7am and has a self kiosk to put in your own order!

I love that they roast their own beans in house and also make their own syrups. The quality is so noticeable in the taste. It’s a cute little shop with a small cafe. It’s very quiet, definitely seems like a coffee shop for studying.
The building it’s in looks very historic and it’s on a cobblestone road tucked between two buildings. It’s also very close to a lot of the historical sites in Philly.

I went there with high expectations, but it was just better than I expected.
The interior and exterior of the store were pretty and had a nice atmosphere. Ordering through a kiosk was easy, but the space at the entrance was small so it was hectic.
The coffee menu seems to change slightly depending on the season, and I saw some items that weren't on the previous menu.

I wrote my name on the coffee cup with a pen, but the pen ink smudged and got all over my hands and clothes. I think it was written with a rollerball pen, but I ordered iced coffee and there was water in the cup, and I wrote the name in there with a rollerball pen, so the ink got all over it. I also asked if there were straws, but the staff didn't answer, so I'm not sure if the service is that good.

Not the best coffee shop, not even top 25 IMO. It’s a self serve coffee shop, and when you hit “No Tip” the “barista” looks at you like you just hit a dog.

They give you a cup, filled with ice, and then you have to sometimes wait 2-3 minutes to…….

SERVE YOUR OWN COFFEE. They literally have a 4g? 5g? Self service coffee station and charge $5 per large iced coffee for scooping ice into a cup.

The “Vietnamese Sumatra” coffee is just some random generated name. It tastes like how burnt rubber smells. The alleyway is cool though. Nice vibes, no traffic, and a cute little table outside for one person total.

Overall, I’d give you $5 to go to a different coffee shop because this one is terrible.

Not the friendliest, they just kind of look at you when you enter. I ordered online for pick up and when I got there they didn’t have the cream cheese I ordered, probably wouldn’t have ordered if I knew that. They should mark out of stock more accurately online. Also the only place I’ve ordered from where they couldn’t take the few seconds to even cut the bagel in half
