The food is average. It’s nothing wrong with the food honestly, it’s just nothing I would pay to try twice. The 1 star is because of the price difference and the lack of accessibility the Old Nelson’s app offers. I ordered a custom sandwich and was given a price through the Old Nelson’s online ordering system. Unfortunately, I received an error message stating “ I was too far from the location”. I then tried ordering on the app, received the same error message but I noticed something extra. The price for the same exact sandwich was less expensive. I was only 2 blocks from the 36th and market location so I walked in and ordered and not to my surprise, I was given a different price. Mind you, the most expensive price for the same exact sandwich was given in store.

it's good for convenience but that's about it. The prices are pretty bad, the service and staff are not great either and they do not accept SNAP.

Multiple healthy, tasty, international food options for all types of restricted diets. It's not cheap, but neither is the food. Recommended if finding a worthy meal on a traditional menu is challenging for you. There are also more traditional snacks and drinks for everyday munchies. ?

Dietary restrictions: Alternative protein options. Non-dairy products. Gluten free, organic , vegetarian, and vegan options available.

I dont know what happened . It used to be so good. When Okie , cindy, henny, Aaron ,and, Ewan worked there. I took the time to get to know their names because I work near by and really liked their customer service.Slowly but surely they all left I watched the service quality decline from a 10 to a 4. Covid hit and then everything went down hill.I tried today ordered my regularDisappointed. The taste was there but the structure of the hoagie was missing. On top of that the cashier is rude as ever. Rolling her eyes for no reason. For the same amount of moneyI couldve had a better made hoagie , with better ingredients and better customer service from PRIMOS!!

I was in the store on November 1, 2023. I ordered two sandwiches and bought a honey bun. I've been in this store two other times. My sister told me about it and after an appointment, we came in to buy some sandwiches. I was told after that visit, they racially profiled my sister. I didn't see it for myself until yesterday Wednesday when I came in to buy some food. After sending my order through, I got the honey bun and went to pay. The store wasn't crowded at all that time of the day. I had one order before mine and I looked up to see mine said waiting. There were two men behind the counter and the one not making the food motioned for the one making the food to watch me. I was standing waiting with my receipt. Once my food was done, I said thank you and the one not making the food yelled at the cashier and he said she paid. I looked around as if to say, wow but I wasn't surprised. My sister paid before her sandwich was done and me also. I left the store and then called for the manager. A man answered and gave the phone to another man, he hung up after I said I had a complaint. I will never go back in that store again. There are many many places that have good sandwiches, one is Jean's Cafe on Walnut street. I wish I had gone there. I've never had any problems with them or them already thinking I'm going to steal because I look a certain way. I wish now I had spent my money there and not in this place. I also see people talking about bad rotten food and bugs. My sister also said never again and I'm saying, NEVER AGAIN!

Black & brown people be aware! My sister who has spent over $100 a week in Old Nelson's (for 20 years!) for delicious hoagies was profiled twice by the Asian who has her brown staff question me, withhold my hoagie! Then my sister goes in and the brown men behind the counter and cook area shout out loud "Did she pay!?" We will never go in there again. Someone bring a camera and film these racist and prejudicial actions! They hung up when l called to calmly complain.

The tapioca pearls in the bubble tea are hard as a mf, it was like chewing on someone's driveway gravel. Someone is gonna crack a tooth open on

The avocado that is used is always rotten. The first time I got a salad the avocado was rotten and the second time it happened with a sandwich. Yikes!

My favorite old Nelson in the city. Vast beverage and snack selection. Sandwiches are consistently delicious.

The hoagie he made me today was killer. Absolutely nailed the turkey and cheese hoagie and I ate it 9 hours after it was made.
