Olea is a hidden gem in Philadelphia. A restaurant that is for foodies by foodies. The service is amazing and Louis treated us like family, including our kids. The food was to die for - octopus, beet salad, lobster rigatoni, pork chop, and a pistachio tiramisu to die for.

I had the pleasure of celebrating my cousin Kelly's birthday with family and friends at Olea Restaurant. When I tell you the food is absolutely delicious, I mean delicious. Not only was the food, atmosphere and restaurant fabulous, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who attended to our dinner party with amazing care. We had a wonderful time here! Cozy, dimly lit with candles, and good music. Started with complimentary hummus and pita, then ordered the rest of our meal. We had the octopus, truffle lobster rigatoni, and 14oz NY strip steak. Everything tasted amazing, with our highlights being the octopus and pasta (they even split our pasta so that we could share easier!). We ended the meal with pistachio tiramisu with a nice amaretto flavor. Thanks for a great meal Luis and team, we’ll be back!

The food was fine. The service and location was amazing!
We booked this for our anniversary dinner and noted it in the reservation. The food was excellent. Shrimp special and caesar salad as apps Rigatoni w lobster, salmon and swordfish for our 3 mains Service was lets say fair at best. The female server was not particularly welcoming, kurt and quite brief/ I had to ask for the bread and humus because it still didnt arrive after our apps were served. No service during the meal.. didnt refill our champaign glasses or sparling water. placed the food and left. No recognition for special occasion. We didnt remind them. Desserts were small and just ok for 12 dollars. Then they took it upon themselves to add 20% gratuity including on the tax. Nowhere on the menu or on the website was that stated. Clearly some people have short changed them and they need to do this. We were a party of 3 238 total including revised tip when I asked about tax on tip. I eat out often and for parties of 3 never see gratuity included. I enjoy tipping for good or special service. This didnt meet that expectation and I would respectfully have left 18% PS I just returned from Europe and am always happy to tip although there it is not customary. So food -Great! Service -can be better Ambiance - small place but for me enjoyable
