My fave resto in Philly!!! The food was absolutely phenomenal—always consistent and so delicious. The service is TOP-NOTCH. They’ve always gone above and beyond for us, always treating us with so much care & warmth every time we’re there. We’ve always celebrated special occasions here since we know everyone will always have a great time. Shoutout to Luis and Jane—y’all are the best. ❤️
You won’t regret going! Don’t sleep on this resto!
P.S. Personal faves are the pork chop, NY strip steak, and rigatoni!

Extremely rude staff, you appear to be bothering them if you ask for additional water. Additional charge, for tap water. The atmosphere is extremely cramped and loud. Byob. You won't be checked on while eating. Automatic 20% tip added to bill.

Very friendly and sincere service, cozy atmosphere, and superb meals with reasonable price. BYOB and you can also get wines (recommended by the host) at the market next door. We had a great time enjoying the beet salad with barsamico dressing, mussels in pesto sauce, and fettuccine with shrimp and sun-dried tomatoes. Be prepared to pay by cash but worth it.

Amazing meal. From the moment we were greeted by the lovey staff we knew this was going to be a great night. Service and food were fantastic. Atmosphere was hip and cozy with a killer soundtrack playing in the background. Gave us a cool NYC vibe. Jane our waitress was a terrific surprise as we knew her from our South Street days almost 30 years ago. That in itself was wonderful, but beyond Sweet Jane was some really delicious food. From our Octopus appetizer to the Whole Roasted Bronzino stuffed with crabmeat everything was spot on. My wife and I agreed that the stuffed Bronzino was the #1 Bronzino dish that we have ever had. We hope it goes on the menu or that it is always a special. That good!!!! All in all an amazing dinner and we will be back!

Food service in atmosphere were all amazing. I got the Bronzino, which was excellent. The rigatoni with lobster was also great. The apple of your cake and tiramisu were also excellent. We plan to make this a regular spot.

Man oh man, what a spot. Typically I’m not huge on Italian food, but this place took it to another level. So many good flavor choices and pairings. I couldn’t tell you what we ordered because someone ordered for us, but everything was delicious. Tried a bunch of the pastas and every one was off the charts.
Really liked the pork chop, perfectly cooked and juicy. Also, even though its is not a steakhouse, the steak came out better than most steakhouses.
As always. Sucker for dessert. The apple pie (sorry have no clue what it’s actually called) and the pistachio tiramisu were both incredible.
P.s. staff was very friendly and accommodating. They really know their craft.

Wow all around! I booked a reservation here for my family during a visit from out of town. I had called my favorite Philly restaurant, which was sold out for a private party during our stay, and they recommended Olea.
What a gem of a recommendation. My husband and son got there early and were greeted basically with a red carpet. They were served the freshest hummus, pita, and green olives while they waited for the rest of us (and for the restaurant to open)! Louis was our waiter, and he went above and beyond during our entire meal, surprising and delighting us every step of the way (owners: please give him a raise!!). Louis gave us compliments on our family, made jokes, served us fabulous food, and made us laugh. Oh yeah and the food and ambiance are both spectacular.

My family and I were visiting from out of town and chose Olea for a special dinner – it was absolutely magical! From the moment we walked in, the owner, made us feel like cherished guests in his own home. The atmosphere is cozy, elegant, and incredibly welcoming. We started with the complimentary hummus and olives, which were fantastic. For our mains, the pork chop was declared 'the best ever,' and therigatoni was rich and unforgettable. An incredible meal from start to finish – we will be back every time we're in Philadelphia!

Olea was a warm inviting place to eat. The food was amazing. The octopus was arguably the best we’ve ever tasted. It is cash only and BYOB. We would recommend Olea if you are in Philly.
