I really wish I could give a stellar review because the food is absolutely fabulous here. Not to mention, they will modify anything on the menu to food specifications, for instance for me who can't have gluten, eats only seafood and no cheese. Yes, they work with this with ease and everything is delicious.
The reason I can't give an amazing review is because having gone twice now, the first time our service was excellent and the second time more recently the service was very poor. Our food came out at different times to the table and as a group of four it was very disruptive. Also, many tables were turned over before we even got half way through our meal. I'm not sure what happened to be honest. I will say this was not our experience the first time we went and given how amazing the food is we will try it again.
The response from the owner that he would reach out was completely false. It is over 2 weeks now and I have heard nothing. For me, the irony was I was actually planning to come back out. But now…. ?♀️.
Dietary restrictions: They will modify any item on the menu to meet your needs. They are very good with handling gluten concerns particularly.

My husband and I stopped in on a quiet Sunday afternoon were serenaded by yummy pasta, blue point oysters, and some really amazing bread. We had an amazing time. Gordana was such a great host and so personable. Our food was honestly so good. The wine was excellent and we even got to try the Spaghetti a Limone in addition to our regular dishes. Highly recommend and we will be back.
Gordona if you are reading this, we will be back for your tequila suggestions...a woman after my own heart.
Signed - Gordon and Shana (aka Gordana. I am still cracking up over our introductions).
Restaurant owners were very rude and entitled. Would not recommend. Just a terrible time.

So pleased with this lovely Philly spot. We were surprised that it was restaurant week and the 4 of us decided to participate as it was only $40 for the 3 courses. Everything we tried was really delicious. The bartender Bohdad “Bo” was exceptional. He made an excellent wine recommendation to accompany our meal. We’ll definitely be back.

When you enter the restaurant the ambience is calm, classy and warm. I sat at the bar by myself and it was very comfortable. The bartender was attentive and easy to talk to. The wine list is thoughtful which is expected with Gordana Kostovski’s impeccable taste. The bread is made in house and is worth every carbohydrate filled calorie. I had the hamachi crudo which had the right amount of spice, sweet and sour to complement but not overpower the fish. If you’ve ever had Todd Wentz’s pasta at their other restaurant, A Mano, then expectations are high. The agnoletti did not disappoint, it was the right balance of earthiness, brightness and texture. I appreciated that the tiramisu was not soaked in alcohol. Many of the negative reviews are when they first opened and from my experience tonight I think those opening kinks have been smoothed out. I can’t wait to go back with my foodie friends. This will definitely be part of my normal rotation,

Amazingly good food, but you are going to pay for it. Drinks are excellent -- always nice to have a cocktail with one big cube. Menu is designed for sharing, but portions aren't large. They inquire about dietary restrictions.
We shared 3 apps, 2 pastas and 2 "mains." Everything was wonderful -- some of the best chicken I've ever had. Desserts -- we shared the selection of 3 -- are not to be missed as well, and you will have room.

Great place that needs to get the attention it deserves. Great food, creative drinks, great low-key atmosphere and wonderful staff. Thrilled it’s in the neighborhood.

Instantly, Oltremare is a new favorite of mine in Philly. Our waitress, and bartender, was phenomenal. She helped us craft the perfect order, and made the best Bee’s Knees cocktail. The octopus was incredible. Every pasta dish was simply wonderful. Everything we ordered was better than expected. Absolutely amazing spot, that should be more well known!

Extremely *pleasant* restaurant: not Michelin level foodie spot (except for outstanding hamachi crudo), but very very enjoyable. Excellent and attentive service, relaxed atmosphere, inventive cocktails, interesting wine list, well thought out flavors and textures, fish extremely well prepared. Best focaccia I’ve had in Phila. Seem to have taken to heart comments on small portions because this is no longer an issue. Looking forward to many return visits!

Wish I could give 3.5 stars! Service was lovely. Restaurant was quite empty, but it was a rainy night. Food was delicious. I was just surprised by the prices compared to the portions, as many have said. Arugula salad was $15, I believe... modest amout of arugula, a few onions and dressing. Grilled octopus was $22 and it was one pretty small piece. Our bill was just under $150 for 2 people (and that included only one adult beverage). I did enjoy the experience and I'm glad I tried it, but it won't become a go-to, which is a shame!

For the prices and the tiny portions the food should have been something a bit more special. The side dish of brussels sprouts was what I make on Thanksgiving every year. The pasta, I can have better pasta at any other restaurant for half the price and a bigger portion. I have no problem with fancy restaurants since I am a foodie, but the food needs to add up to what the restaurant is presenting. go to an expensive restaurant and get better food somewhere else.

The portions are somewhat on the small side but nothing insane like others are saying (I say this as a 250 lb guy). The service is spectacular and the food is delicious. Nice wine selection, went with my notoriously picky grandmother and she adored it. Seriously underrated on here!
