Olympia Gyro Reviews
Went there today Saturday 5/3/25 and I won't ever go there again. I was rudely ignored while patiently waiting to place my to go order. Cashier took several orders for other customers who arrived after me and were sitting at the counter. When I went to pay the cashier attempted to add a tip to my total. Nice try, I saw it on the device and immediately cleared it. I later discovered my order was not right naturally. I should have just walked off. Overall very disappointing experience!
It's inside the Reading Terminal Market. Eat in or take away. There were several stools when I chose them for lunch, from all the options there. They have chicken, and lamb/beef combo roasting in front of you, they cut your sandwich from. Fresh tomato and onion bits inside a Pita. There is a white sauce, which I didn't have. Sandwich can come with fries and coke for under $15. I got a smaller portion of fries. All fresh and tasty. service was attentive and speedy. Very pleased...read full review

Olympia Gyro offers tasty Greek food at reasonable prices in the bustling Philadelphia Downtown. The salmon salad is highly praised for its perfectly cooked salmon and freshness, while the gyro plate is appreciated for its freshness and flavorful gyro meat. The tzatziki sauce is noted as the freshest ever tasted by some customers. The service is friendly and quick, with staff checking on customers to ensure everything is okay with their meals. The kitchen/counter area is clean. Olympia Gyro is a solid choice for decent Mediterranean food, with many gluten-free options available. Customers enjoy the quick and friendly service, fresh and delicious food, and great prices, even during busy times and major events. While some dishes like the Spanakopita and baklava received mixed reviews, the chicken Greek salad with added lamb, baklava, and fries are still highly recommended. Overall, it is a good place to stop for a bite to eat, often exceeding expectations.
