It's a ok place if you don't mind and place that has an small average space bar with high price beer just speaking from personal experience and if you don't mind the smell of weed

Alexis was one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had. This is coming from the perspective of a bar manager, someone who’s worked in the industry for many years. I don’t often leave reviews but Alexis is definitely worth mentioning. Stop by upstairs to see her and the crew Tuesday through Saturday. She has a break Wednesdays and you’re most likely to catch her in the evenings! Don’t miss out on spending your time with one of the best bartenders in the city!!

My fiance and I have been going to oneals for 8 years. 2nd floor Karaoke with Dj Jerry(look him up and hire him, he is the best and really knowledgeable). The bartenders Previously Phil , presently Alexis(probably the main reason we go cause we follow Jerry all over). Both great bartenders who like to sing and will remember you and your orders/choices ... the barback "Stausssshhh" might be my favorite human in philadelphia. The food has been great most of the time... it can get busy so order early. The darts is/can be fun. Dj Jerry and Alexis make you feel like family . It can get really packed pretty quick... sometimes you sing 8 times sometimes once it really is a roll of the dice... 1 bathroom on the 3rd floor .

After reading the big review (incoherent review) that happened with alexis makes no sense! as a regular who has been going to Oneal's for more than 10 years...it is far from perfect. but Alexis has NEVER referred to Oneal's as "her bar" she is not racist. she always makes announcements before she sings to let everyone know that she will be with them as soon as the song is over. she is only nasty if someone is nasty with her.to fire her over a karen makes no sense. why not counsel her? ask her not to sing for a period of time? but to just fire her over some person who probably wont come back anyway? alexis was a selling point when i would tell people about oneal's pub. Idk what i should do now. Bc i love jerry. But i cant stand to let this be done to a good person.
