My sister and I stopped in for happy hour before an event at the Met and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We shared 4 plates and had cocktails and wine. Everything was sensational. Would highly recommend stopping in for cocktails and apps with friends or a great spot for date night.

Good luck finding anything at fault here. Osteria carries some of the best entrees in the city. The service is attentive, professional, and effective. The menu is creative and inspiring. After half a dozen visits every meal has been perfection. If there is a big event at the nearby MET, expect a big crowd. Plan ahead. It's worth it.

Absolutely fabulous food and amazing service from Anthony! I loved the NJ Tilefish, the duck garganelli, and the Ferrero-Rocher budino. Impeccable cocktails (have the Principessa) and stellar wine list as well!

We came here for the ricotta cheesecake and were disappointed they had no cheesecake at all. So we tried the apple upside down cake and it was awful. The apples were jelly-like and not fresh apples as you would expect in an upside down cake. The drinks were very good. The principessa tasted like a creamsicle. The raspberry gin sour is always a favorite! Some dishes on their website weren't available on their current menu. The Rigatoni, Branzino and pizza were decent. Service was average. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 4.2 stars!

We had an excellent meal before going to a show at the Met. Out of five different dishes we had, only one was good rather than great. The broccolini Caesar salad was a highlight.
The service was friendly, and they quickly resolved an issue we had with our outdoor table getting drips of rain from the ceiling--they reseated us as soon as they could.
My only nitpick is that the outdoor area is rather tight, but we did go there at a peak time so I didn't find it unreasonably cramped.

Beautiful restaurant, I especially love the romantic atmosphere with warm lighting and floor to ceiling windows and curtains. The menu is great and the food is excellent. It’s perfect for a date night and group dining.

One of our favorite restaurants! Amazing happy hour and amazing dinner. We would come for the focaccia alone! We’re getting married here in a few months and the planning process with Osteria has been a dream. Could not recommend more!

Good meal, not quiet as good as its priced. Good food but there wasn't a dish that i'd race back for. Whole Branzino, $58, about 5 to 6oz of fish that was just OK. I need more from that price point.
