After a long day helping someone move to the neighborhood, we just wanted anything to eat. Even though it was late on a Sunday, we got a friendly greeting, were served quickly and the food was delicious. Far better than we expected. Will definitely eat here again.
Some great bartenders depending on the night, over-inflated prices, interesting crowd, food is nothing to write home about, and they tend to cancel jukebox songs if they ain’t feeling it. That’s cool for Bob and Barbara’s, but not somewhere that a beer costs the downpayment for a car loan. A Miller HiLife is $7. It was much better when it was the epitome of a dive bar, Sara’s. We live down the street so we go here fairly often, but it's on the pricey side so we try not to go too often.
Having said that, it is worth the price. Food is always 10/10, cocktails and beer selection also 10/10. And all of the bar tenders and wait staff are very nice.
Love the atmosphere, so chill and cozy - it's one of my favorite places to go in the autumn/winter with a book and just have a dessert or a beer.
