The food that is ordered in this small shop is always wonderfully prepared in a timely manner but usually when I arrive in Philadelphia from Charlottesville Va ,the owners always like to engage in Social , political , or sports conversations that makes the visit to their store a much more enjoyable

The female hostess/cashier/owner has an abhorrent disposition (attitude)over the phone and in person. The quality of the food isn't as good as it use to be years ago! No upgrade to the immediate area but business is happening.

One of the best pizzas I ever eaten! Or probably the best one ever!!!! It came out how we asked for, even better! Usually we leave a few slices but this one… was all gone!wasn’t greasy, wasn’t salty or dry like some of other pizzas that we have eaten . It was sooo good eating it and even looked amazing… I forgot to take a pic of it. Update: came back to have an other item from their menu, it looked great and tasted alright. I was not a fan of it, I will stick to the pizza which was very delicious. The staff was very friendly!
I grew up ordering Overbook so my review may be colored by nostalgia. That said, I think their pizza is excellent; good sauce, good cheese, good dough. Their Greek salad is also great (I always get it with oil and vinegar) and comes with a hoagie roll that has a nice chew. I personally like the pizza even better reheated in the toaster oven so the crust gets crunchy.Vegetarian options: They have the usual vegetarian options at a pizza place and the food is good.

We landed at the airport and a local recommended this spot for an official cheese steak. (You don't say Philly cheese in Philly!)Amazing food!!I will say the fact that sales this as the best local cheese steak...the family running the operation. Truly spectacular. They would have me returning weekly of I lived here.I was blessed to observe them serve the regular locals....truly an amazing family
