Can’t say enough good things.. heck family been buying p&s for pasta ravs sauces meatballs since 1970s but only in recent couple yrs I been ordering their hoagies & sandwiches.. oh boy are they to die for.. the mix of lunch meats stuffed! fresh bread mix of the hoagie fixings perfect toppings tasty juicy I think for hoagies it’s in my top 5 best ever! Plus this place has lot of Italian stuff for making your own meals… top notch .. only negative of course .. it’s south Philly.. trying get parking to pick up.. pain.. but thank god for delivery apps!👍👍👍
PS: The best hoagies are at P&S.
They have great hogies no matter which sandwich you order. They service is outstanding and they greet you everytime you walk in the store great personality.I wouldn't mind walk there and getting me something to eat from lunch.

Walk in and I'm transported back to the hoagie shops in the 70s. The smells, everything!! Perfect.

Great food and awesome staff. Plus it's a family own. One of my favorite spot to go to for fresh authentic South Philadelphia hoagie / Cold cuts sandwich. Pasta also yummy and great for your money. Stop by..

Wonderful little shop in the heart of South Philly. The variety of sandwiches and the freshness of the meats and cheeses makes this a go-to. Besides the normal deli sandwiches, they also have specialty items available. The food combined with the friendly customer service makes this the place to go if your looking for a flavorful bite for lunch. I would suggest calling ahead as they do tend to get crowded.

Initially I was not going to leave a review, however, to hang up on a customer is totally unacceptable.
Lunch:
I ordered a large Italian Hoagie. The bread itself was not even edible, hard as a rock. I paid extra for sharp provolone, there was none. I asked for extra mayo, there’s barely any. As for the meat, you’d think I ordered a veggie hoagie.
Customer service:
I contact the store and I find it odd that I’m defending myself over a mistake you all made. To make matters worse, the lady who took my order and the guy who made my food responded with a terrible attitude stating “I don’t know what she wants us to do, our bread comes like that.” I was not offered any remedy and to make matters worse the young lady hung up the phone after refusing to accept my statements as true. What a waste of time and money.
Please, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this establishment.
