I must have gotten the wrong thing. Tried the Proper Fish Chips, I've had better at McDonald's.

The french fries taste worst than fast food. Fried fish taste like something of the frozen food isle no taste at all.

Would not recommend

I had the chicken and waffles, the chicken was juicy but the waffle was slightly dry. The service was a bit slow but overall a good brunch spot

Visiting Philadelphia with some friends and we had a great visit today! The restaurant came highly recommended and not only was the food on point, but the service was even better! We all said we felt like we could have sat and chatted with Norman forever. He really made the experience for us- informed about the menu, so attentive, and just the absolute best presence. We have a pretty full schedule the next few days but we’re trying to squeeze in another meal there, and we will most certainly be requesting him as our server (fingers crossed he’s working if we make it back!). Don’t miss out on this great restaurant when you’re in town! You won’t be disappointed!

Took my family for Thanksgiving and had an incredible experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, service was exceptional from the movement we walked in and the food was excellent. Also would like to recognize Christoper, our server, for making the experience so enjoyable. We are already planning to go back and to be honest it’s about an hour for me and I don’t like to travel that far for dinner but was so impressed with it all that it is definitely worth it the time. Well done P.J. Clarke’s.

After working in Restaurants for 12+ years, I am still impressed by the level of hospitality that the team here provided, we hosted a private dinner and Roger was amazing to work with in helping us get the dinner set up with short notice. The space was perfect for the event, and every course was amazing. Both Michelle's are great, and our guests of the event all shared how perfect the evening was. We look forward to future events here and can't wait to return.

It took me one hour to find a parking spot. This was to walk around to independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. This restaurant is located a block from both. It was a Saturday night and we were able to secure a table tight away. There was a wedding reception going on and it was super loud. It was myself, my wife and one of my children. Mathew S was our server and he was pleasant and attentive. My wife and I had Bloody Mary’s which were really good. I had a Philly cheesesteak which was pretty good a little bit light on the portion size, but acceptable. My wife had three apps as her meal a baguette with special Philly cream cheese, buffalo shrimp and Parmesan truffle fries. My daughter had the kids grill cheese. We enjoyed our meal and the location was great.

Parking: It’s a nightmare

Kid-friendliness: Good for kids
