I had an awful experience because of the manager on duty. She was a short woman with black hair, and I believe she was hispanic, who was rude, dismissive, and clearly shouldn’t be managing anyone. She spoke to me with a nasty attitude and then turned around and talked down to an employee in front of customers like it was nothing.
The tone was condescending, the behavior was unprofessional, and the whole situation was uncomfortable to watch. If this is the standard for management here, I won’t be coming back. And they forgot my cookie!

Went in to buy two bags of cookies. The cashier Maziyah was very unwelcoming and rude. I spoke, she did it speak. And when I asked where to get my items, she said nothing and stared me down. I usually get my salads from there, but no more. They need better workers.

The panera coffee machine is ALWAYS BROKEN. The BUSIEST STARBUCKS IN PHILADELPHIA is right across east service drive. A 30 second walk.

Panera wants to compete with the busiest starbucks in philadelphia with coffee machines that are always broken.

Get your act together!

I had an issue that was not really anyone’s fault it was a warmer issue and the Manager Robin had great customer service. I appreciate how she handled the situation and I will be returning.

Needed to use bathroom, but was denied because it was only for employees. Are you kidding me? Who stops a lying customer from using the bathroom

This Panera absolutely sucks. I placed an order at 8:44am for a 12:10 pick so I could beat the rush. When I arrived my food wasn’t in the preparing stage. Most people who come to this location are employees of the hospitals and have strict timelines on when they need to get back. I could understand if I placed the order an hour before (it gets really busy around lunch) but 3 hours is ridiculous. They either need new management or to hire more people. Whoever is managing is not doing a great job of being proactive about getting orders completed before lunch starts. Super unorganized and unprofessional. You’re better off trying to get served at the other location that’s a little further.

I ordered in the app. It told me my food would be ready at 12:23. I showed up early, just in case. In ordering my food, I looked closely at the ingredients because I have a few allergies. I ordered the strawberry caprese salad.
My drinks were made and then sat there for 15 minutes melting before my food finally came out at 12:57.
I rushed back to the hospital to find the thing I am allergic to on my salad. Onions. NO WHERE did it say this salad had onions and no where does it allow you type in specific odd allergies such as this one. AND THEY FORGOT MY CHICKEN

Very disappointed.

*Update: I decided to go back for the chicken and the manager was very nice and gave me the chicken for my salad and apologized for the mishap

This Panera location is an absolute failure, and it’s honestly embarrassing given where it’s situated—serving CHOP, Penn Medicine, and the surrounding research and medical community where nearly everyone is on a strict schedule. There is nothing “rapid” about their so-called Rapid Pick-Up system. Multiple times, I’ve ordered an hour in advance—basic, staple menu items—and still found myself standing and waiting. By the time my order is ready, any convenience has been erased.
The line of frustrated customers waiting for overdue orders is a constant scene. If you cannot operate in a way that accommodates the unique demands and volume of this campus, you simply won’t last here. Efficiency isn’t optional in this environment—it’s critical.
To make matters worse, the quality of food is subpar. If you’re going to make people wait over an hour for a simple sandwich, at least ensure it’s fresh and prepared with care. Instead, the food feels rushed, sloppy, and far from Panera’s supposed standard.
Bottom line: this location is failing miserably at the basics—timeliness, quality, and reliability. Unless major changes are made quickly, this Panera won’t survive in a place where people’s time is worth more than sitting around waiting for a mediocre sandwich.

For the most part it’s is okay. I just had a weird encounter with the female manager… me and my co worker have been doing rapid orders since they started. Which means our order should be ready on the shelf once we are alerted . We all take turns going to pick up the items. When I gave the names she informed me that we aren’t allowed to pick up each others orders… like huh she said my friend needs to pick up her order and show a ticket. I’m like that’s weird because I didn’t just show you a ticket for mines I just gave you my name. Would you like me to have her send a picture . She likes pictures aren’t acceptable. Next time she needs to come. Then she proceeds to tell me people been stealing. Like what does that have to do with me !!! We did rapid orders you alerted us that it was ready if it was where it was supposed to be we wouldn’t even be having this conversation. It was just very awkward as well as unprofessional.
