Absolutely delicious. I got stewed bacalao, rice & beans and you can truly taste the love. The service was also wonderful.

Im not a picky eater, i wanted a cuban and they vary in quality place to place but its usually decent, this was one of the worst culinary experiences i have ever had in my life, actually had a rotting taste i think I'm gonna be sick. Tried to stomach it because i paid for it but i wasn’t strong enough, i was not physically strong enough to bite through the reinforced pork slab in the middle, i think it would be bulletproof honestly. It would be a war crime to serve this to prisoners of war. Waste of money, i have undoubtedly shortened my lifespan by letting this anywhere near my mouth.

Lo mejor de lo mejor. The best of the best. The food is always delicious with lots of flavor and they give good portions for a great price. Other dominican spots are abusing with the prices. I LOVE THIS SPOT. 10 stars.

Delicious food, great prices! We ate in but this place seems great for take out too. We loved the ropa vieja, oxtail, fish bites and plantains, as well as the passion fruit and tamarind drinks. We came in late and the owner was the only one working and he was very friendly. BYOB which is always great. Heard their desserts are delicious too but didn't get a chance to try. Highly recommend

We were in Philly for a convention and ate here before heading back home. It was great!! The service was excellent. Very friendly. We ate pollo guisado Carne de res pernil and a mofongo de queso. We also got white rice with beans and tostones. Everything was delicious and they give u a good amount of food. We all got a limonada and it was so good. Would definitely come back here when back in Philadelphia.

One of my favorite spots in Philly, $10 for a huge portion of rice, beans, plantains, meat and small side salad. Big enough for 2 full portions and all the protein options are amazing. Cannot recommend enough for a weekday lunch or dinner.

wish i had taken a photo of the food i ordered from here while waiting for a show at underground arts. for $10 it was a half chicken, so moist and juicy!, yellow rice, black beans and some plantains. this was enough for two people to share while we waited for doors to open and omg. it was so flavorful! the gentleman who helped me was very nice. bathroom was clean as well! would love to come back here and find more yummy things to eat.

Love that this place feels like a hidden gem but they honestly deserve to be packed at all time. This place is INCREDIBLE and I am getting hungry just looking at the pictures. The two times I've gone I've ordered the fish chunks which come with rice and beans (so delicious!!). You must try their sweet plantains and their tres leches cake. I've tried bites of the oxtail and, as some who has practiced pescatarianism (at times loosely) for 5+ years, it makes me question everything. It's just so so good. Service is friendly and I love that they're BYOB. The prices are super reasonable for the portions and the quality of the eats!!

I had this gem bookmarked for a bit and was happy to find myself close by. I made my way there, because today, I really needed some comfort food a la Dominicano!!!! There is plenty to choose from. Just go and let the scents guide you. As soon as I walked in I was so happy. It felt like home! Surprisingly, it was empty and sadly after eating the food. Y'all missing out! I took stock of the fare and the gentleman that helped me suggested the $10 plate of half a chicken , rice, beans, and a duo of sweet plaintains. I'm in!!!! Mira, the ribs looked good so I had to get some of those AND extra amarillos. This was take out, and the food was still warm. I appreciate the utensils and napkin, lots of places lack on that with takeout orders. Everything was delicious! Period! I'll be going there often, for sure! They have amazing family deals as well. Just go, it hits the spot!!!
