Paradise is my favorite diner in the city. It’s simple, the food is tasty and well prepared and the staff feel like family you actually like. The chicken salad sandwich is such a perfect lunch if you want a recommendation.

We had breakfast there and the food was what can be expected from a diner, its hard to mess up pancakes and eggs. They did their best to ruin coffee however it was undrinkable. Cleanliness is not a very high priority there its pretty dirty.

You might question this place based on location (beneath the El), you might question it based on decor (I'd guess the last update was about 3 decades ago), but you will NOT question the food. This place has absolutely delicious diner food at incredible prices. I've never had anything I didn't love, the ladies who are the servers are so nice, it's a real hidden gem in the neighborhood.
