I was so looking forward to my experience visiting Parc. Unfortunately the service level was not the best. The waitress didn't come greeting me until after 10 minutes of me sittimg down. She only checked on me once. I had to ask another server for my check to leave .
I love Parc, every time I come to Philly, Parc is on my list, however this go around wasn't the same. The menu seemed different, less exciting entree options and some poor execution on a few things. The lobster in the lobster cocktail was extremely tough to chew, the tomato tart was slightly underwhelming, there was bits of burnt onion in the French onion soup, and the hanger steak had a funk. I know they come individually sealed and wet aged, this definitely sat too long...
We attended PARC for a birthday dinner after returning from Paris and the food was comparable to our meals in France! Everything was delish, we got the Parisian ham, little neck clams, steak au poivre, and macaroni and cheese. The bread basket was award winning alone along with the small window to take home a baguette!
