I made it just a couple of minutes before close on 5/22. Everyone was welcoming and very helpful! I told the owner I had come up from Middletown, DE is the traffic was terrible with the rain and the start of the holiday weekend. He was awesome and said to call ahead next time and they would have what I wanted ready. My wife and I and kids love the hoagies and cutlets and meatballs. The salads are all very good! I was taught by my grandparents to always support the local family...
One of the best chicken cutlet, sharp provolone, and broccoli rabe sandwiches you’ll have in Philadelphia. Pastificio is a staple in South Philly. Plenty of options to choose from, and even some amazing homemade pasta to take back home. Old school authentic Italian delicatessen.
My decades-long love affair with Primos has sadly come to an end. I met Pastificio, and there's no going back. The selection, quality, service....all top notch. My husband and I are totally hooked on the Buffalo Chx Cutlet. Absolutely love Pastificio!
