Meat is fresh, not a lot oil drop down. Bread is fresh, not too soft or too hard. Love it.
Grabbed a cheesesteak and it was good
The cheesesteak sandwich was decent. Pizza fries were just ok.
I truly love this spot is iconic of Philadelphia what I don't like when did cheez whiz meet a Philly cheesesteak? Riddle me that Batman
Still the King of Steaks! Xtra WiZ
It's ok. Could be better if they work in the bread consistency and temperature. Bread was hard and cold.
Bread was hard
pretty good. will come back, again.
Very delicious Philly steak sandwich. Huge serving.
Found this soon-to-be century old shop when googling what to do in Philadelphia. It is a must try when you are in Philly but do keep your expectations low. Ordered the cheesesteaks and the mushroom cheesesteaks but they were a bit heavy. Overall we feel that the food is a bit pricy. It was a good experience but I definitely will not visit again. The neighbourhood where this shop is located has a very chill vibe and suggest go explore this area if you have the time.

Not like when i was a kids that they were made as you order and was a freshly made sandwich. but it ok sandwiches are warm not hot and cheese fried are different but won’t visit again.
Cheesesteak! Enough said. What a fantastic place. And it was right across the street from Geno's. The meat was plentiful; the cheese wiz was tasty; and the bread was fantastic. I took a Lyft from Independence Hall to get there so I would not have to deal with the parking. Glad I did.
Best cheesesteak in philly. Don’t waste your dollar at Geno’s
We just left there. Cheesesteak was awful, the meat was tasteless & full of grizzle. I threw it away. So disappointing. Our choice was between Pats & Gino’s. I won’t make this mistake again.
I really enjoy coming to Pat's kings of Steaks
