Pearl of East on Oregon Avenue is Philadelphia’s hidden gem for Chinese cuisine! This cozy spot dishes out a delightful array of flavors, from the classic General Tso’s Chicken to the savory Sesame Chicken Combo Platter. It’s a place where every meal is a journey through the rich tapestry of Chinese culinary traditions. The Spring Rolls are a crispy start to any feast, and the Cheese Steak Roll is a local twist that’s not to be missed. With its friendly service and a menu that’s both tasty and affordable, Pearl of East is a must-visit for anyone looking to satisfy their Chinese food cravings in the City of Brotherly Love!
I usually order my food from pearl of East but every time the man takes an order....he hangs the phone in the middle of my order. I call back he still hangs phone in the middle of my order. ..... I was trying to order Is a combination platter with Soup.... I tell him I don't want no pork in my rice in my rice and he insists that it comes with the pork...... I tell him again I Dont want pork in my rice and again he wants to have pork in my rice ... all I wanted was plain fried rice with my order..... Horrible Experience has a nasty attitude...........I've ordered plenty of times from here. They dont even tell you they ADD DELIVERY charge on your bill and I'm constantly giving a tip when they delivered ...when the ladies answered the phone they get my order correct...... but when ever the man answers he never get the order correct. He Insist on giving you what he wants you to eat, not what you want to eat. I will never order from here again.

Liars. They said they were open, but when I got there, the damn shutters were there. Scumbags deserve this bad review.

Order a chicken wing platter with fries. Asked for salt, pepper, and ketchup. For some reason they refused to put it on themselves they just put 2 packets in the bag. I asked for more and they tried to charge me. The wings tasted funny, and the fries were okay. Everything was super dry. Their customer service was trash. Ill never spend my money there again.
