A cute pet-friendly cafe with a persimmon theme in Fishtown. It might be a popular spot in the neighborhood as it was busy on a Sunday morningSide note: My friend recommended me Drift Magazine for city coffee guide and I was excited to flip the physical copies there. We ordered latte and cappuccino. Very smooth coffee with a nutty espresso base. Well-frothed milk gave a creamy texture. Loved the latte art on top. The porcelain mugs and coasters they used were cute. Their pastries looked attractive to serve with coffee too.

Proper coffee shop. Not a place to come and work, there are only little tables to hold your drink. But these people clearly appreciate good coffee and do they it right.

Sawyer and his coffee ☕ are the bomb!Delightful ambiance, stellar conversation both with Sawyer as well as the very friendly and warm patrons.Delicious pistachio something or other bun and asparagus something or other. Complicated but delicious. And decor was lovely. I particularly loved the bathroom door. Maybe that sounds strange but the way it was painted was beautiful.

Persimmon is the loveliest coffee shop in Fishtown. Everything I have tried here is standout. The service is exceptional and the quality is unmatched. I typically enjoy a drip coffee but their seasonal lattes are SO thoughtful and delicious. So much care and attention to detail goes into this place and it shows :)

Sawyer took great care in preparing my morning winter latte and it brightened my day. I’m so glad I stopped into this welcoming fruit of a place. Go!

They make by far the best espresso in Philadelphia and are easily a step above all other high end coffee places in the city. The staff are friendly as well and they have a nice little seating area where you can drink your coffee from a little ceramic cup.

My bestie showed me her favorite neighborhood cafe. It was a snow day, so we decided to trek out for something to keep us warm and cozy. So glad we stopped by persimmon. They have the most minimalistic and relaxing space to come and enjoy a drink with a friend or solo. The decor from the cute little persimmon miniatures (on sale) to the wall in the bathroom were on point. The barista was so kind and welcoming and he made the yummiest matcha latte. I loved the vessel it came in, that gave it a fun texture to hold and enjoy the matcha. Not to mention the very beautiful latte art. It was the perfect sip of warmth on a frosty day.
