Went after the Phillies game only 1 mile from the ballpark pretty much across the street from chickie and Petes. Sat outside on a beautiful night did not have to wait and sat ourselves. Bar was crowded. Had to wait initially for a waitress for about 10 minutes, but after that, our waitress came quite often. We started with a couple beers and ordered their hot honey habanero pizza. “Best sandwiches in Philly” is a bold statement but this place is certainly among the top of the list. Great rolls, legit roast pork and my wife loves the meatball parm so much, if it were a guy I’d be kicked to the curb.
Working from out of town stopped into this neighborhood bar and just was treated awesome great people great atmosphere. I am staying in Jersey right now but chances are I’ll be in an Airbnb in that area of South Philly. I sure hope so because I’ll plant my flag there.
