Merzbacher's of Germantown

I'm a die-hard fan since the beginning. This is real, soulful bread, and the new one, (forget the name - with sweet potato and lentils), is just amazing.

I buy an occasional loaf at the farmers market. Today I got the sourdough with sesame. I pause to say it . . . but it's as good or better than anything down a block at the competition on 19th Street. Excellent crumb and no holes so large that butter immediately pools underneath. Good work!

I came today after seeing the listing for.Good to Go
I wouldn't be able to pick up for tomorrow and saw that they opened at 4pm. It took a minute to figure out the exact location. The bread is warm and fragrant. I can tell its going to be delicious. I usually get my sourdough from Trader Joe's and love to make fresh homegrown tomato sandwiches with it. Decided to try Merzbachers and see what the French toast loaf was about since I'm craving French toast. The only complaint I have is that my sweet potato Pullman got smooshed and flattened cause it was at the bottom of the bag. No bueno.

This is a bread Bakery, not a restaurant. With that being said. They make some of the best Breads with better ingredients.

I often pick up 2good2go bundles from here, highly recommend both the app and the bakery. Very yummy and diverse breads.

Where else can you get fresh hot bread straight from a little side window? Everyone is so nice here and the bread is delicious. Get the focaccia!

Wow, I saw your business highlighted on FOX29 this morning. I realized your company makes my favorite “Everything Philly Muffins”. I live in South Jersey and discovered your bread at MOMs Organic Market in Cherry Hill. I am so disappointed when I go shopping and it’s sold out. I would love to try your “Sweet Potato” bread. I haven’t seen that at MOMs, I have to ask MOMs manager to increase their selections and orders with you.

The bread here is amazing! I'm so glad I found this place. My family loved their sweet potato rolls & the multi grain bread. Always fresh!!!

In actually I have never experienced the food.

Just picked up some Everything Philly Muffins from the bread window to take to a friend. Super service, friendly and fast. Plus I could see trays of freshly baked bread & rolls that had just come from the ovens. Love having a bread window in the neighborhood!

I got the Merzbacher's Sweet Potato Pullman bread. ? Never stop making this!! Amazing toasted! ❣️ Purchased at Kimberton's in Ottsville, PA. So good!! Will need to let their management know to keep ordering it. Just wonderful!!
