Typically I have always experienced a feeling of appreciation when I visit the Philly Pretzel Factory in Bear, DE or Middletown, DE BUT, today my visit to the Middletown, DE location left me feeling unappreciated and in fact like I was being a pest. I stopped into the store in order to redeem my ‘celebrate the Eagles win’ coupon. I purchased the 5 pretzels and received 5 free. The pretzels were cold and hard. I complained to both the cashier and the gentleman making the pretzels and was told they were just made. I begged their difference and the gentleman gave me an unfriendly attitude and said he’d just put them back in the oven and they’d be just fine! Needless to say they weren’t. They didn’t taste as fresh as usual nor were they soft. In my opinion this visit was totally unacceptable!!!

Went to the new one in Worcester and the pretzels were freezing cold and bland. Probably would've been better if they had warmed them a bit. All of us were disappointed.

Dickson City Pa, placed an order and arrived 30 min early to pick it up. Store was completely closed for the day despite being charged my order and way before closing. Would not recommend. Update: called today (next day) and was told by the staff “they closed early probably because they were ‘dead’ despite having paid online orders to fulfill 🫠

Tried this hidden gem in O’Fallon, MO for the first time for Free Pretzel Day and honestly these have been the best pretzels I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back to try more of their delicious looking menu items. The owners are also very friendly and welcoming, it felt like I walked into a family member’s house with how happy they were to see us. This type of authenticity is not common nowadays so I’d definitely recommend Philly Pretzel Factory 🥰

We love your pretzels fresh and warm. Today I stopped and was very disappointed. The pretzels are hard like a stale left over. Please fresh and warm or at least fresh not hard. Thank you

I think this might be the best in south Philly…

We ordered and pre paid for pretzels And dips for the Super Bowl and when we got there we had to wait in line over an hour after our appointment time just to be told they didn’t have what we ordered and already paid for with no explanation and my husband then had to wait again to get a refund, very unprofessional!!

Just a heads up this store closes 20 minutes before scheduled..And refuses to serve anymore once they decide to close.

This one on 23rd & Passyunk is a dump! Pretzels are hard as rocks NOT FRESH and warm. Don't waste your money at this Pretzel factory. Go to Broad & McKean, I rather go out of my way for HOT FRESH Pretzels at any time of the day! They never disappoint.
