It's a better value than the places in The Reading Terminal. Biggest downside is they're confusing about topping being an extra charge & I heard the lady come in after me complain about that as well. I would not have gotten any of the toppings I did if I knew how much extra it'd cost. I believe it's ¢50- $1 per topping, which is a huge shame. There's no where to sit and eat in here & the vibes are hurry up & get out. The cheese steak itself was decent though, but I don't plan on returning.

This was the highest rated cheesesteak joint near my hotel and I can't say that I was disappointed! The shop is a hole in the wall and it might not look like the best place for cheesesteaks since they've got pizzas by the slice waiting at the counter. After my first bite, I was impressed! The steak was juicy, the "cheese whiz" (melted nacho cheese) gave the sandwich a touch more moisture, and the bun was fresh, soft and chewy. The fries were a good addition that made it a huge and filling meal!

We stopped here on a whim after doing some sight seeing in the city on the way back to the hotel. It's a small store and there were about five young boys inside with backpacks clearly getting a bite to eat after school. The woman at the counter handled everything with grace and was kind and efficient. We shared a pizza slice and a side of curly fries. It was reasonably priced too as it was $13 for the slice, fries and a bottle of soda. Both were delicious and fresh and took about 5-7 minutes to be ready. I would absolutely return.

I came across this place on a quest to find something to eat for dinner. I’d been walking by and decided to stop inside. Out of all the cheesesteaks I’ve tried around the area, these by FAR are my favorite. My friends and I have been coming here frequently when we are in the mood for a good cheesesteak. The deals are great too for a cheesesteak and fries. Love this place and it’s my go to for when I’m craving a cheesesteak. Definitely try them out!

Was in Philly for a few days and wanted to support a local small business for dinner before heading back home. This place did not disappoint! I went right during dinner time, ordered my food and was on my way within 10minutes. You get A TON of food. I ordered the cheesesteak (naturally) and it was stuffed full, and they give a mountain of fries. Everything was delicious - just the right amount of spicy kick from the hot peppers. Even while I was waiting for my food I overheard another customer on the phone talking about how good their pizza is. Service was friendly and I was happy with my decision to grab dinner here.

I recently moved to the Philly area and haven't tried all the top spots yet. I pass through the Center City/Chinatown area a lot and passed this place by a few times. I was looking for a cheesesteak place in the area one day and decided to give this place a try. Good choice. The cheesesteak was full and delicious. This is really a hidden gem of the area. Considering many of the famous places are hole-in-the-wall style, this place could be the next big thing IMHO if they just got some good press. Decent price, big sandwich, stuffed with steak and tastes great. Worth it if you're in the area.
