Cool vibes, family style small plates. Rotisserie chicken and grilled oysters were phenomenal. Other highlights: chicory salad, fries, and cauliflower croquettes. We tried a few cocktails and they were creative and pretty good. Wine list is extensive.

Really wanted to love this place because it’s in such an awesome space. It’s close and could have been a spot we frequented with kids for an early dinner. However, the menu is full of small, expensive portions. I would love to go back with adults but unfortunately that just rules out being able to come often. When going we kids, we crushed each portion of fries and a tinnnny ketchup in minutes. There wasn’t much else they could enjoy except the chicken.

Great dining experience! I had never heard of this restaurant prior to coming for the first time w my husband and a group of friends. The wine shop when you first walk in is cute. The restaurant layout and ambiance is really big and open. Our server was very nice. Drinks were good. Food was incredible. We ordered a lot - from salads to oysters, meats and fries. It’s possible we ordered just about everything on the menu and everything was great. Food was very flavorful and delicious. Service was a little slow at times and they did not have coffee available to accompany dessert after our meal which was disappointing hence the minus 1 star. Otherwise a very satisfying meal and would recommend.

Outstanding meal at Picnic. First off, the setting is beautiful - old warehouse that has been repurposed. Very airy with cool lighting and a nice bar area too. Menu is really interesting - we went on a Sunday and good raw oyster special - really enjoyed and the verde cocktail sauce was a different (and good) take. We got a mix of small plates - cauliflower croquettes, anchovies/baquette, bluefish toast, fries and 1/2 rotisserie chicken. All were excellent - esp the chicken! Beer and cocktail offerings were solid and service was on point too. Just a great spot - and look forward to heading back! Love the retro playlist too😉

Great food and great atmosphere! We had plenty of time to check it out because we were seated 40 minutes after our reservation time and were only given free bread…. I hope they can figure out this seating issue going forward.

What an impressive space. Worth the trip just to experience it…. But luckily the food is delicious as well. We’re pescatarian and the menu suits us great. The mushroom burger is soooo good and hearty. Great cheese selection too. Glad to have this spot in the hood! Bravo.

So much fun! Fabulous atmosphere and delicious food. Roasted oysters, scallop crudo, roasted beans and tomatoes, 1/2 chicken, and fries were all absolutely delectable. Lovely wine list and bottle shop. Our waitress, Cameron, was a delight! We went early Saturday and it’s very family friendly. Looking forward to returning with our kids and grandchildren.

3rd time to visit. Food was great each time. Chicken was tasteful with an nice charred seasoned skin with juicy meat. Grilled Broccoli had balance flavored. Charred beans and tomatoes took your taste buds on a journey. Fries were perfectly crisp. Oysters were fresh with flavorful sauces amplifying the experience with each combination. I love that they offer sauces to enjoy with all the dishes. I would recommend the salsa verde and the chicken jus. Erin B was our server each time and was always attentive and provided a high level of service.
