Stumbled upon Pita Chip while looking for a quick halal lunch during a visit to Philly. I didn’t know what to expect, but the combo over rice was flavorful and satisfying—hit the spot without being too heavy. The food came out quickly and had a nice balance of spices and sauces. It's basically Chipotle for Middle Eastern food. Staff were unfriendly to the point of not even acknowledging a hello. The Chicken Shawarma was unremarkable. You could do better at a food cart.

I usually go to the North Broad St. store which is very nice. Today I went to the 36th St store and I love the setup even more! My bowl was so full, it'll take a while to get through it. That's ok because every forkful is a flavor explosion 💥 in my mouth!
